Hey Babs, don't you think it's a little bit silly to pick on part 2 of a 2-part series for being inaccessible? Otherwise, good on you for reviewing a B.P.R.D. book. More people ought to be reading these books, they're really fantastic.
1. Anyone else thinks Alan Moore will be one day found dead in his home after having choked on his beard in an attempt to eat it in frustration?
2. Am I the only one who wished DC would bother going into details about their monthly comics rather their limited series at conventions that aren't in San Diego?
Note to DC: If you want to tease people about your upcoming events, you might have more success if your own interviews gave more than 'the creators are excited' or 'everyone I am working with are superb' (and dont use the size of the corpse pile as a sales point)
This arc is not as good as the first one was, but it's still better than 90% of the books on shelves. I agree that the way they've decided to tell this story makes it tough to follow, and that it would have probably been more coherent as a linear story, but at the same time doing it this way makes you excited to find out about what you're going to see next, and how it explains what you've already seen. It's kind of like one of those movies that runs in reverse.
This. What an amazing book! I've never liked spider man, and have only been reading since the recent future NY explodes story, but I'm hooked. Just amazing.
