Well I decided to buy Flashpoint, World of Flashpoint and Secret Seven.....I have been totally pleased. The other titles well I guess I'll flip through them at the shop, but I'll probably just wait till its over an get the tpb. Tracy 13, has been totally surprising, and Secret Seven is intriguing....I am very much liking these titles....
@xerox-kitty: this has been the biggest blow....Stephanie's character really grew up on me on this last year....its sad.....The girl who Slapped the Bat should not be forgotten. And really I know Barbara Gordon has quite the fanbase but do we really need to see her as Bat-girl when she has clearly outgrown that suit. The only way this would work is if DC Universe returned to some erlier time when none of the defining points of this characters took place. But Barbara Gordon is much more than Batgirl.....by far. Batwoman would have made sense.....and WHERE IS HUNTRESS????????!!!!!!!
The biggest blow has been Stephanie not being Batgirl anymore. The new Batgirl title and its creative team were awesome and transformed Steph from the bat family reject to the greatest Bat family adition. Steph is the girl who slapped the BAT and she should remain as Batgirl....Barbara Gordon outgrew The Batgirl suit a long time ago....unless the DC universe is flashbacking to an earlier time....Besides that its going to be sad if we don't see Red Robin. Too bad Dick will be nightwing again 'cause it would have been fun to see Tim as nightwing and Steph as flamebird. Nightwing and Flamebird.....or Steph as Nightwing and Bette as Flamebird.
I think it would be totally fun to see Steph and Bette Kane toguether. Nightwing and Flamebird I believe it would be totally cool.....I have a blonde ambtion....
The anouncement has been made. Barbara Gordon is donning the Batgirl costume again. What has not been announced is: What will happen to Stephanie Brown, who has owned the the title of Batgirl succesfully in the latest run. She has gathered quite the following and convinced a lot of skeptic people about her qualifications to be Batgirl and just when things have been picking up REVAMP. The Question is What would you viners think will happen to Steph?? What do you propose??
I believe that what made BoP so interesting was the interaction between the characters. Not having Huntress, who has quite a big following, in the team is a BIG-HUGE mistake. Plus what will happen to Stephanie Brown I was really enjoying her role as Batgirl. I trust DC but this kind of moves got me worried. Barbara outgrew Batgirl a long time ago...I would understand her becoming Batwoman....but batgirl is just not Barbara anymore she is a grown woman both phisically and emotionally. If Stephanie Brown won't be batgirl anymore....it would be fun to see a Nightwing and Flamebird with Steph as Nightwing.
@Skaddix: Everything is a contest for you stormers....I did not say he was better or worst than Storm or Wolverine I said he had the potential to lead. If you felt that your favorte character was threatened in some way please excuse me. Transmutation, phasing...whatever...you got what I meant.
