@The Dark Huntress:
One year from now...she will not be memorable.  I started reading Generation Hope and I can tell this is one character that won't be staying for long....She could have been great. Messiah was great; but Second Coming blew it.  She is redundant.

I differ...Endsong proved that Emma is not one to coward even when facing the dreadfull and all powerfull Phoenix.  I do believe that the writer wanted to focus on how powerful is Hope.  Wich is preatty pointless when you take into account that she has Rogue's power minus her absorbing handicap.  By the way the idea of a mutant possesing every mutans power was allready used in X-factor....it was a lame power for a new character; besides the Phoenix force Hope has nothing appealling and I guess she won't be that memorable as a character.  I do believe that if the writer was going to focus this story on just a few of the characters then it was pointless of having a huge crossover across every title with an X.  Really it could have fitted in five issues of X-Force....

Best fight ever, against Firestar.  And let everyone know that Firestar is the most powerful mutant in the Marvel Universe.  Jean Grey can bring the Phoenix to come out and play anyway I bet Firestar will anihilate Jean, the Phoenix force, and the entire planet.  Then Galactus will come and ask her to be his newest Herald.

Okay First of all Jean Grey never made the X-men Exiting.  Oh well there's the one time she did something exciting and it was possesing Emma Frost body.  Besides that she has allways revolved around Cyclops, Wolverine, the Profesor, and the Phoenix.  Her character as great as it was was stagnant.  The best X-couple is Havok and Polaris.  The best Triangle Havok, Polaris, and Wolfsbane.  Rogue and Gambit are just annoying; and everybody knows that Profesor X manipulated Jean and Cyclops to be with each other.  If Jean Grey ever returns her best choice is the man who has allways loved her like an unreacheable star....Warren Worthington - Archangel...When Havok was leader of X-factor he was bold and focused, a great leader and a great character.  We must remember that characters are what writers make of them.  I believe the X-men need a fresh start but they should return to the blue and gold team concepts.  This utopia thing is like the Legion of Superheroes gone awfully wrong.
Gold Team:  Havok, Polaris, Iceman, Firestar, Beast, Cannonball, and Husk
Blue Team:  Cyclops, Emma, Archangel, Rogue, Colosus, Wolverine, and Meltdown
few old, few new....and once in a while an added character depending of wich situation they are facing they might need the expertise of another mutant wich can be developed during the storiline and added to the line up.

Okay Jean Grey died but there's always "Hope" all pun intended hehehehe....anyway I do guess she'll come back.   For now get used to Hope being the closest thing.  Anyway her character was way obsolete allready.  There's so many times her transformation into phoenix could be surprising and it reached its limit.  She should stay in heaven or her little white room and let the phoenix to posess Firestar.

It was awful. Her role was meaningless and her character has been off character for several storylines.  Emma is a strong, manipulating, and fearless.  Even before having her diamond mutation she could kick ass fighting against trained x-men like banshee.  There is even a part in chapter 13 where Cyclops and Logan run to aid hope and wolverin tells emma to stay that there is nothing she can do and she just looks down and says I know.  That's so out of character.   The logical thing was to diamond up and run after them.  Second Coming was a big disappointment, When is the Phoenix going to stop being the center of every major crossover?? I hope Grand Morrison was back he knows how to write Emma, mean, cold and bitchy.

Steph was the best choice for Batgirl.  Maybe as Spoiler she was not the best but Batgirl has addressed the shortcomings of the character and infused it with a very charismatic and distinctive voice.  Within the bat family everyone failed Steph and in spite of it she is back stronger and with the conviction to prove herself as worthy of having the bat on her chest.  The new series has blown me away I never imagined I was going to enjoy it so much.  So to everyone out there bat girl is a great adition to your collection.
