Nah.  As much as I like him in Torchwood and Dr. Who, I don't think he'll make a good Cap.  If GI Joe: Rise of Cobra does well, I think the guy who plays Duke (Tatum Channing?)  would fit the role better.

After seeing him in The Sarah Conner Chronicles, I think he can pull it off.

Uhm... I thought that Mandarin called himself "Mandarin" because he's Chinese.  If they use this guy to play Mandarin, they should rename the character  "The Middle-Eastern" or "The Arab".  Makes more sense to me that way. :)

The Devil Tiger, WATCH Season 2.  It's not at all like Season 1, especially the last few episodes.  And trust me, the show got MORE REAL than any Terminator fan could ever hope for.   I lost interest in the show, too, after Season 1 and stopped watching BUT after coming back mid-Season 2, I realized the show got SO MUCH MORE exciting and action-packed.  PLEASE STOP READING HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS.

In Season 2, Sarah, John Connor, and company are out to find and destroy "The Turk", an Artificial Intelligence/ Chess Program that they believe would later evolve into SKYNET.  In the  finale, we find out that there is a  faction of machines in the future (that aren't allied or re-programmed by the humans) that are trying  to destroy SKYNET as well.  So what do the machines do to accomplish that?  They send a liquid metal T-1001 Terminator to the past (our present) to BUILD a counter-SKYNET using a computer program/A.I.   It turns out "The Turk" doesn't evolve into SKYNET but into the anti-SKYNET I mentioned earlier.  So it's not just Sarah and John with their trusty Terminator running around anymore... IT'S MACHINES VERSUS MACHINES.  How awesome and original a Terminator story is that?  To top it off, the last scene of the finale has John Connor JUMPING into the future WITH the rebel T-1001 Terminator (who, by the way, is played by Shirley Manson, vocalist of the band Garbage).  Sarah Conner is left behind, and their Terminator ally (Summer Glau) is out of  commission.  WE HAVE TO HAVE A SEASON 3!!!  I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS ALL ENDS!!!

I was really into the show when it first came out, but kinda lost interest.  I still would watch it online from time to time, though, just to see what was going on.

Last month, I gave the show another chance.  There was this 2-part episode, "a flashback to the future" called Today is the Day, where future John Connor sent out this submarine crew to retrieve a box for him.  The box, turns out, contained a T1000 (liquid metal terminator, like the one from T2).  After murdering one of the crew then saying "Tell John Connor the answer is NO.", it turned to liquid form and disappeared.  Later on in the episode, we find out what the question to the answer was (through Cameron, the good terminator played by Summer Glau).  The question that the liquid Terminator answered "NO" to was "Will you join us?".  That blew me away... the thought that John Connor was asking what probably was a rebel faction of machines to fight alongside the humans against Skynet.   That  glued me on to the show, which culminated in the mind-blowing season (hopefully not series) finale that you just have to watch to appreciate.  I would have to give the finale a 10 out of 10.

To anyone who hasn't been watching,  give the show another chance.  At least watch the last 5 episodes.  I promise, you won't be disappointed... and you will be left craving for more.

I really do hope they come back for season 3, or at least absorb the plotlines into the new movies.

Baroness looks good, Snake Eyes looks perfect (I'm glad they went with that particular costume because it's my personal favorite), but why the heck are they going with this look for Cobra Commander?  Cobra Commander has an iconic, distinct look.  This version make him look like just another thug in a metal mask.  I guess this version is more like the Battle Armored Cobra Commander.  I just hope that he goes through several costume changes throughout the movie, and this is just one of them.   I hope that he comes out with the classic faceplate, and even the cloth mask one.
