@magian: I’ve actually played the the Atelier series from here and there since the first one as a kid. It kinda flies under the radar like the Tales series to me, but has its following. Atelier Iris 3 was the last one I played and I loved that one. Got back into the series with Ryza 3, and I’ve been enjoying it.

I need to spend more time in Atelier Ryza 3. The game has been fun but man does it suck down time. I’ve spent maybe 12 hours on it and I’m still towards the beginning.

@dernman:

don't think it does. This wasn't a singles match it was a tag team match. It doesn't mean the same thing. Besides it was great for the Bloodline story for Jey to pin him since all that he's been through. I wouldn't want it to be in a singles match but for a tag team match it's great. I also don't give a flying frack about Cody and would not like it for him to be the one too take the belt. Cody isn't owed anything. Neither the first pin or the belts. They're not even on the same brand anyway.

Edit: I almost forgot the only reason he's not been pinned is because his ass has been saved so many times. If you want to talk about diminishing the whole hasn't been pinned thing that would be it.

I mean it does diminish whoever is the guy to pin Roman for those belts. Roman is the final boss in WWE. Ever since becoming tribal chief he hasn’t been pinned or submitted, as of Saturday, but just for point’s sake, we’ll see he wasn’t. This guy survived Drew, Cena, Demon Balor, KO, Sami, Lesnar, Rollins, Rey, Jey already and Cody. That accolade was intertwined with those belts and was made to be a big deal. Tag match or not, he has not been pinned. Saved or not, for 3 years, has not been pinned. Until that ref rung the bell, Roman did not lose officially. An accidental low blow, a couple superkicks and a splash did him in when the Usos themselves would lose on a weekly basis almost on TV but only show up on PPV’s. So there was nothing there for them to win this. Now Roman gave them to rub, great for them. The Usos are arguably the greatest tag team of the modern era, but again, this takes away from Roman losing the belts because that mystique is gone of him just being able to survive, outside interference or not. So now you take away all that heat and stock that Roman built and whoever was going to dethrone him would have all of it. It’s diminished because he was pinned.

In terms of Cody, I mean it doesn’t matter if you like Cody or not, and no one said Cody is owed anything, however, Cody made sense. I said this a year ago when he came back that the second he gunned for the title and his entrance said wrestling has more than one royal family, it made sense. The one title his dad or brother never won, and all the accolades owned by the Anoai family, Cody, the hottest commodity in pro wrestling in for a year long stretch of getting to mania to beat Roman. That made sense, but since they didn’t pull the trigger at Mania and have stuffed him into this nonsensical feud with Lesnar, his stock is going down. There was story to be had there and it made sense for the hottest commodity to be the top babyface beating the biggest heel in the business. And being on a different brand doesn’t matter, hell, they had the SD woman’s champion on Raw and raw womens champ on Smackdown And had to make new belts because of it while never addressing it for almost 3 months.

If it were up to me I think they should’ve never unified the belts to begin with or at least given it to Drew at Clash at the Castle last year with Heyman pulling some stipulation out his ass saying it was for only one of the belts with Reigns keeping the universal championship to keep that streak intact while also giving a deserving superstar the world title and his undefeated streak and the other show would’ve had a world title belt. And Drew was that guy IMO.
But idk, man. Might not be Cody anymore, but whoever does pin him for the belt is losing a big chunk from that push because Roman got pinned, again, tag match or not.

All around decent PPV I guess. Both MITB matches were good. Was going for LA Knight for the guys, but Priest was a Darkhorse for sure and I’m cool with it. Iyo was the right decision for the women. Iyo has always been over. Zoey wasn’t winning it. Trish and Becky aren’t done yet, so they weren’t winning. Bayley doesn’t need it. And Zelina is still not that great in the ring IMO but she did show up. So Iyo was the best call, and to sey her up most likely for Asuka at some point, putting I’d say WWE’s best womens wrestlers against each other.

The womens tag match was fine. Dominik Vs Cody was meh. Gunther vs Riddle was good. The return of Mcyntire for Gunther sets up an awesome fried for Summerslam. And the Bloodline Civil War was a great tag match but I feel the decision made at the end was very ballsy for sure, but I think does detract from Cody’s story being the one to beat Roman for the belts by having Roman be pinned before dropping the titles but it was what it is.

With how Duggan made it sound, it’s most likely for business given Feilong of Orchid owns Stark Unlimited and is using his tech to make Iron Man sentinels. More of a you scratch my back I scratch yours type thing.

Across the Spider-Verse was damn near perfect.
