I think the humor in this episode was better than the previous ones for sure, Fitz was actually good in this episode. The references are getting old though (New York, Tahiti). The tag line of the show is "Not all heroes are super." We shouldn't expect someone with powers to swoop in and save the day, but it would be nice to see more Marvel things from a Marvel show. Victoria Hand and Graviton were cool to see, but the plots have been barely interesting. My favorite one so far was the former agent with the device in her eye controlling her. It should be interesting to see what next weeks brings with a Thor 2 reference and allegedly this whole show is building up to Winter Soldier. All in all, its alright, I'm not going to stop watching it, but something needs to happen to keep more people on board. Not that they are related, but Arrow is doing a much better job with incorporating the DC universe in their show.

I'd like to see more Hydra or AIM spy interaction with SHIELD

Lets hope that Netflix doesn't raise their price between now and 2015!

Hopefully there are enough stories to tell for Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist to have their own shows. I feel like all 3 could be in one show, then Marvel could have a more diverse spread of shows. Daredevil would be epic.

This one was the best yet! This season feels more like a comic book than a traditional CW show. I noticed the 52 reference multiple times, I kind of thought it was used too much.

NOTE: This is just a theory. Why is everyone saying that The Canary is Laurel's sister Sarah? I originally thought that The Canary was Summer Glau's character, Isabel Rochev, This would make more sense than Sarah Lance, in my opinion, because she obviously is an important character and we haven't seen her in a few episodes. But then I checked IMDB and that was not the case.

Overall this is was awesome and looks promising for the rest of the season.

I agree with most things that are being said about this show. I will watch this show for the rest of the season because it is better than most television programming out there like reality shows and other network dramas. That being said, I am a little disappointed in the lack of Marvel characters and aspects. Arrow does a decent job bringing in DC references. The first episode was cool with the link to Extremis. I have a feeling we will end up not liking Coulson after this show and his appearances in the movies will be watered down. Overall, I don't think that we, as comic fans, can afford to be incredibly picky, at least we have a Marvel live-action show.

Hello Podcast Crew,

I submitted this question before and it was answered on the episode where Matt, Greg, and Jen filled in and they didn't really know how to answer it (no offense, if they are listening or filling in again), but I was still hoping to get some clarification.

"I have been trying to delve deeper into Marvel. I read New Avengers TPB 1&2 by Bendis (Vol.2, 2010-2013). Spider-man did not receive a SHIELD paycheck because he did not reveal his identity to the group. I just read issue 1 of Hickman's FF and Johnny Storm said he would like Peter to fill in for him if something happened. When Peter showed up at the Baxter Building, Sue Storm addressed him as Peter. My question is why does the Fantastic Four know his identity and its no big deal, while SHIELD and the Avengers do not know his identity? Is there a storyline you recommend I check out to help with this?"

They suggested a continuity error, but I feel like his identity is important to maintain, unless that was part of a plan in another storyline. Thanks. You guys are awesome.

The majority of people who saw this movie have no regard for comic book ideologies or the fact that comic books exist. Non-comic book fans, do not care whether or not he killed Zod. As long as people are in the seats, and people buy the dvd/bluray, the folks at Warner Brothers are happy and they all get paychecks.

Hey G-man and guest if present,

Do you have a problem writing G-man without a hyphen like some people do with Spider-man and X-men?

An etiquette question concerning my LCS. In my city, there are 3 comic shops, two of which are of concern. When I got into comics I went to the one closest to my girlfriend's apartment, which was walking distance (Store 1). This shop does not have the biggest selection, but are so nice and I have great conversations when I go in. They treat me like a friend, so I decided to subscribe there. The other store has a better selection of everything and are helpful and friendly but are not really interested in striking up conversations (Store 2). Problem 1, we just got a house which is closer to Store 2, and is the opposite end of town from Store 1. Problem 2, difference in items, let me explain. In the past I bought short boxes from Store 2, but the other day I bought one at Store 1 and it was really different. It is way smaller than the previous ones I purchased and it won't fit where I have the other ones (yes, I am positive they are all in fact short boxes). I ran into a similar problem with seal-able bags. Store 2 also orders more copies of issues that i heard about once they came out (via ComicVine, things like ASM #700). Store 1 also ordered the wrong number graphic novel in a series I pre-ordered, twice. They did rectify the situation, but it ended up taking an extra 2 weeks. I'm torn because I really enjoy going to Store 1, but it would be convenient to go to Store 2 and I wouldn't have to worry about not missing out on a hot issue because they order plenty copies, but I would miss out on shooting the breeze with the guys in Store 1. Any thoughts?

When I read GotG his voice is close to what I imagine for Drax, plus he has the build for it. I would prefer him to Dave Bautista (pro wrestler) for Drax.
