Is everyone kidding me in this forum? Despero is a beast but the JLA still found way to beat him in the end. Plus look at the list hulk, Thor, vision, iron man. I know superman and captain marvel are like the strongest in dc but they are always getting mind raped. Hulk and vision are immune to mind rape. Hulk is a primal rage beast. He can go toe to toe with Despero if he was mad enough. I'm sure after the second time Despero punches Hulk with his strength hulk is going to go berserk and be able to match his power level. Vision and thor are no slouches either in the power department. In realistic fight hulk punches Despero to the ground and Thor drops mjolnir on despero's chest. How the hell is he going to get up after that. No way is he worthy enough to pick up the hammer. He will be stuck. Even hulk couldn't lift the hammer. Despero's only strength in this fight is his telepathy. Iron man, Pulsar, Ms. Marvel are all liabilities in this department. But Iron man is a genius and a master strategist so his suit would read Despero's telepathy and he would order them to stay back and let Thor, Hulk, and Vision handle the fight.

Iron man and batman crossover is needed.

Lex Luthor is hands down the best overall scientist and inventor in the dc universe. Batman does come in the top ten but most of his science is so geared to stopping crime. Lex Luthor has a billion dollar company were he is always coming up with new inventions and break-through in science. In the Dc Universe Online Legends comics Lex states he has like 6 noble prizes. Plus Lex (with some help from Batman of course) is able to beat the hell out of Brainiac, who knows everything about everything by absorbing who know how many planets. In the Superman Doomsday movie Lex is just sitting at his desk looking out of the window coming up with cures for diseases/cancers like it was nothing. Bruce hasn't done anything like that.

Batman is the greatest strategist. Luthor is probably the best inventor of dc but not the best strategist because big blue constantly puts him in his place. as for the Deathstroke argument, Deathstroke is the greatest tactician. This is claimed by the author of the comics. there is a difference between strategy (long term) and tactics (short term). It is basically (strategy) the ability to plan and (tactics) the ability to improvise and think on your feet.
