@ariesxmasters: Understandable. Oh and "excessive" was an exaggeration none the less. However, I still think some of the panels in the comics I read are drawn too gory. I wish I wasn't on mobile so I could post an example. You stated you read DC Comics. I do too, in fact their comics is where most of this stuff I'm talking about is coming from lol. I guess my definition of gore just differs from yours perhaps and I respect your opinion.

@amazingwebhead: Can't tell if you're serious, but I'm assuming you are. And in that case, you're highly welcomed and I'm glad you agree ^^

Most definitely. As a new user here, one of the things I enjoyed most were the quest. It made looking up characters even more fun and gave me something to do other than editing and commenting.

I've recently noticed that a lot of modern comic books lately have been becoming really dark and somewhat gruesome. Some stuff is a bit suggestive and others just seem to go way too far, for lack of a better word. In some cases, I've even completely just stopped reading the comic because of the excessive amounts of gore, demonic references and overly sexualized characters. So if anyone could maybe help me gain a better understanding as to why comics have become this way, I would greatly appreciate it.

*Please do not be rude and criticize my opinions. My intention is in no way to complain, but to understand.*

I'm quite surprised no one has mentioned Professor Pyg. Seriously, he is one of the most vague and uninteresting Batman villains there is IMO. And what surprises me even more is how long this guy has stuck around. Do fans actually like him as a villain or is it just me? If so, I would love to know why exactly, maybe then I can gain a better understanding.

According to the "About Me" section on my profile, I've been a member here every since 2012-04-02. However, I did have a few long hiatuses from this site for various reasons. Somehow though I always manage to find myself coming back to this place each time. Comic Vine is just a really fun site to be on thanks to the very friendly community and the vast loads of information on comic book characters is most beneficial for doing research.

@dan12456: Hmm...interesting, you may very well have a point. It is a bit odd how Wells chose Eddie as the one to read the captured Zoom his rights. It's as if he knew that once he said "detective Thawne" Zoom would realize that Eddie was a descendant of his, therefore killing Eddie would erase him from existence. That's probably also why Zoom grabbed Eddie and quickly stared at him. I think he was trying to see if he recognized him and he obviously did because he spared his life and ran off. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. However, I still believe there's a possibility that Eddie could be involved in all this somehow.

@bluelantern1995: I too have the same theory! I strongly believe that the 2 Reverse Flash's we saw in the mid-season finale were indeed Eddie and Wells. Eddie or one of Eddie's descendants, as you stated, is obviously the Zoom that attacked Wells and spared Eddie's life and Wells being the Zoom that fought Barry at the stadium. I have a link to a video that could possibly confirm this, but warning it may contain potential *SPOILERS*: http://youtu.be/pTvLaBqwYyc

Oh and another thing, at the near end of the episode 'Man In The Yellow Suit' Cisco says something about there being two speedsters in Barry's house that night of his mother's murder. I believe that is Barry himself from the future trying to save Nora's life, but fails. He could also be the one would carried his younger self 20 blocks away from the crime scene to insure his safety from Zoom.
