500 Days of Summer was pretty great considering it was a romantic comedy - fresh and different. If the director can also think outside of the box for the Spidey movie it could be interesting. Not sure how he'll be with the action scenes though...
I think Johnston will do Cap proud. I loved the Rocketeer. If he can harness that good 'ol American pride/vibe he did in that flick, I think he'll do great. Coincidentally The Rocketeer has one of my favorite comic book movie lines of all time - "Go gettem' kid." (said by Paul Sorvino as the Rocketeer stood near the American flag and blasted off towards the escaping Nazi Zeplin)
Green Lantern's girlfriend??? I though she was mine!!??? I took her out for breakfast yesterday - we had coffee and bagels - BAGELS I tell you! Damn you Green Lantern...damn you...
I have to admit - Daken skeeves me out a bit. But he's a totally interesting character/villain. Wonder how'd they'd pull him off on film. I'm sure they tone down certain aspects of his personality. Might be interesting, but I'm wondering if he's too new to the Wolverine mythos to get screen time yet? Jackman still rocks as Wolvie though.
Too late Malkovich - my grandpa already got the role. He's in the garage, practicing with the wings as we speak. Oh hell...I think I just heard a crash...gotta go...
