I instantly thought Darth Vader as a Red Lantern.

that keeps coming up but vader was so laid back...and I'm of course ignoring the prequels when making this statement. He was cool, calm, and calculating...Red Lanterns, by and large, react at the drop of a hat and can barely take the time to speak much less think.

I see your point. I just instantly thought of him because of him being so angry at the Jedi for, as he thinks, them killing Padme. Then again, that is probably more prequels and not the original trilogy, so I understand.

yeah, but did you see Jabba?

Yeah, I liked that idea. Now I'm trying to think of more. This is hard...haha. Yoda as a member of the Indigo Tribe? Maybe?

haha, that one works visually but I want it to match character as well and that gives me the same problem that Hermoine does. Indigo's are actually horrible people who are basically working off their debts while under the influence of the indigo light. So it'd have to be someone who is "evil" or "bad" that's trying to repent...maybe John Constantine?..nah

Yeah, I'll admit that one was just visual. Haha

I would say that's a solid idea. Who knows what Marvel has up their sleeves with their Marvel Now shenanigans -- and its strange because when I finally am able to immerse myself in a few more 52 titles, Marvel had to go ahead and shake things up. :)

I've only been into comics for about 2 years now and I started about 6 months before the New 52 started. For DC, I kind of waited to start reading them until the New 52 happened for fear of losing what I had just read. Obviously, I haven't been doing that with Marvel but I'm going to try and follow that framework. That said, the only Marvel books I'm now reading are Avenging Spider-Man (just dropped Amazing, didn't need 2 books and this one was more fun), Avengers Academy (ends in 2 issues), Hawkeye, and Wolverine & the X-Men. I don't know what of that will stay when NOW happens, but I'm going to play it by ear I think. Avengers Arena and All New X-Men are the only two NOW books I'm currently planning on picking up. I just don't have the money to get Marvel after I spend so much on DC. I don't really see that changing anytime soon, either.

You clearly have never read any Catwoman solo series. Her personality and character is why there is love. She steals, yes, but she has morals and standards that unfortunately is not very common in humans in real life. She has reasons for what she does and that, along with how badass she can be, is why I love Catwoman. I kind of look at her as what Batman would be if he was willing to kill, only he probably still wouldn't steal.

I would say Hulk. I mean, c'mon, he smashed that giant alien worm thing in one hit!

@lykopis oh definitely. I'm not targeting Marvel, I read some of their stuff still. Maybe what it is for me is that I will be waiting until the Marvel Now stuff starts happening to see where I stand on Marvel. It may also be because of my love for Batman and Green Lantern that I care so deeply about DC. The independents definitely add to this craziness though.

It's so hard to view any of the Bat characters as liable to be killed off. I think this title isn't really saying that someone will die, but more of the idea of the Bat-family will. Trust will be what dies in this story, I believe. Whatever happens though, I'm pretty excited! I get a Batman event AND a Green Lantern event at the same time?!
