@Afterglow: If Surfer is in the air and Zoom jump that leaves him at a disadvantage as he can only move in one direction, where as Surfer can move like a UFO and make crazy maneuvers making it that much easier to tag Zoom. Placing Surfer directly in front of his opponent hardly seems fair when Surfer is a flier, there should be a decent distance between them.
A radial blast from Surfer while being attacked shouldnt be a problem, theres nothing hindering him from unleashing that kind of power.
Surfer wins easily. Zoom couldnt do anything to him while hes on his board and the Surfers wide array of abilities are enough to defeat Zoom. Ive read some of the argument in favor of Zoom but theyre not enough to convince me that it would play out like that.
They way I see it is as soon as Zoom starts punching Surfer the Surfer can unleash a huge area blast that would kill zoom.
