Web Video Portal To Offer Streamed Episodes Of Three Hit Series
I've been informed by the folks at Viz Media that three of their animes are available for free online. This is pretty cool. I've recently started getting into animes and mangas. Free is good. I just watched the first episode of Death Note. You do have to download a little plugin for the video player. There's also a couple ads when the video starts but other than that, it's pretty cool. You have your own queue so you can save different videos you'll want to watch and not have to search for them later. I like this. They are in Japanese and subtitled. But this way you don't have to listen to the cheesey English voice-overs.
For those that haven't or have refused to watch animes, here's a chance to watch some for free to see what they're like. There's something about the animation that 'American' cartoons just don't capture.
VIZ Media, LLC. (VIZ Media), one of the entertainment industry's most innovative and comprehensive publishing, animation and licensing companies has announced that Joost™, the world's first broadcast-quality internet television service, will carry the original Uncut (Japanese version/English subtitled) episodes of the hit animated series NARUTO, DEATH NOTE and BLEACH (coming soon) in the United States. Episodes will be made available for free at www.joost.com with new installments being added regularly.
