Star Sapphires would probably sell because of the all female cast, but I'd like to see more of the Indigo Tribe. It could be interesting seeing the Indigo Tribe's compassion getting in the way of other heroes missions, or see them lash out at the villains that cause suffering in the universe.

I don't know if the Blue Lantern Corps has enough people to warrant a series... aren't they still dedicating 100% of their time to finding their first handful of members?

Looks good to me. I'll definitely go see it because I enjoyed the first one and I can't wait for Avengers 2. With the potential destruction of all reality on the line, I wonder if we'll find out what the other heroes are up to or if they'll just ignore everyone else again like in Iron Man 3. It would be nice to see how this second wave of movies fits together chronologically, but I won't hold my breath.

Between Batman and Wolverine there's no question in my mind; Wolverine has taken more emotional hits simply because he has lived so long. The longer you're on this planet the more highs and lows you get hit with. Wolverine's old enough to have seen many past friends and lovers die (often in brutal ways). Thinking about it that way, it would be interesting to consider how many emotional hits a man like Vandal Savage has taken over his long life...

Besides, Batman goes looking for punishment a lot of the time, so I feel like he kind of expects things to go wrong which probably lessens the blow.

You do know that Quasar is the Defender of the Universe right? He has way more responsibility then any Green Lantern.

The Green Lantern Corps are tasked with defending the universe too (although they usually stick to their assigned sectors, they do help elsewhere if the need arises). If I was a Green Lantern there would be over 7000 other GL's and the Guardians of Oa all expecting me to do things their way. I'd be one tiny cog in the machine that is the Green Lantern Corps and I don't think I'd enjoy that. Quasar has a lot more freedom (to my knowledge). Even though Quasar has been on various teams, his individual contributions count for a lot more and he can choose to join or leave teams (while GL Corps membership is up to the Guardians of Oa and the rings themselves).

[rage] I really hate the 2-3 pages of self-worship that the entire production team puts into every reprinted collected edition of old story arcs. When I buy a copy of Crisis on Infinite Earths because it came out before I was even born, I don't want or need 4 spoiler filled pages of the editor, author, and artists patting each other on the back over how well they handle Supergirl's death. Please let the story speak for itself, you sound like d*cks when you self promote in your own books.[/rage]

I love Quavers. They're delicious.

In all seriousness, Quasar doesn't need to recharge (to my knowledge) and he doesn't have the weight of responsibility that being a Green Lantern brings with it so he's the easy choice for me.

I'm also fairly new to comics so I can't see too much wrong with what they're doing now. Some of the new stuff is really cool (Batman: Court of Owls for example) although I can see why people would get a bit annoyed when they're doing things like suddenly curing Oracle/Barbara Gordon/Batgirl. Not sure how long until her survivors guilt gets old and boring, but for the moment the writing is pretty solid.

As attractive as ScarJo is, I have to vote for Ms. Marvel

Edit: I guess voting already ended though. See post #28

I'm going with Batman. Bruce is smart enough that he could probably figure out if his moves were being mimicked. In my mind at least, it would play out like someone trying to beat a chess grandmaster simply by copying every move they make. Taskmaster's got some cool moves from other superheroes he's encountered, but at the end of the day, without super-speed or some other super-human ability to augment his skills, he doesn't have the adaptability or experience needed to best someone on the level of Batman.
