Truth. I was looking forward to the Cyclops/Cable talk and I loved the little we got, but would've liked more. It is hard to see where this book is going, but so far I really enjoy it. I wanna know more about Colossus's powers and how they were affected by the PF. Hopefully Hopeless will delve into it more in the next issue since it seems Piotr is gunna have to help out the rest of the team single handedly. Also, Cyclops said him and Cable will talk soon, so maybe in this book or Uncanny X-Men.

I feel like if they call them "Gods" they shouldnt be able to die and they should be all powerful with their only rivals being other "Gods". But since they aren't written like that then it makes sense for them to die, especially the Norse "Gods" mainly because of Ragnarok. Deaths in general should be taken more serious and should be longer lasting. As much as I want Nightcrawler to come back ,it might be better if he didn't. The death of comic book characters doesn't mean too much to me because my first thought is always, "I wonder when they'll be brought back" and not "I hope they bring them back"

World War Hulk level rage and that many Hulks makes it very unfair I think. They have more numbers and more firepower. Hulks win by a landslide. They also have the Hulkamaniac so thats just an automatic win.

You asked what good did he do because the new mutants will be hated and feared. They say being a mutant is the next step in human evolution, it unnaturally was put to an end almost on M-Day though and now it was knocked back on track thanks to the PF. Them being hated in feared is just brought about by the ignorance of nonmutants although the fear is somewhat understandable. I say somewhat because any psycho whether you have powers or not can get a weapon of some kind and hurt people and accidents can happen by and to good hearted people, but these are easier accomplished if you have the powers and dont need a physical weapon like a knife or gun. However kids getting killed by Sentinels for being mutants wouldnt be Cyclops' fault. It would be the fault of all of the ignorant bigots who hate mutants and want them killed. You said that the new mutants might not have had an X-gene until the PF came, but I feel like they just had dormant powers that wouldnt have surfaced if it wasnt for the Phoenix Force. I dont think the Phoenix was dispersed in a way that mutants were chosen at random, but the humans became mutants because they would have been mutants if M-Day didnt happen. I definitely wouldnt say his original intention was to kill Charles and millions of innocent people. Yes the phoenix corrupted him and yes thats a shitty argument, however it is a valid one. The whole "id do it again" thing sounds harsh. But from the mutant perspective he saved a species from extinction. And its not saving a species like the dodo bird, they are exactly like humans except they have powers. Do they need them? Probably not, but he still did a good thing. New mutants will help people overcome their hate overtime and thus making people better individuals and eventually you would hope that the non superhero mutants will use their abilities in a positive way. That obviously wont be seen anytime in our lifetime sue to story tellings sake. But realistically thats the potential it has. So what good did he do? He saved a species. Now you have to ask if you think the ends justifies the means.

I was excited to see Jubilee on a team too. I started reading comics too late to know much about her and I only know of her from the 90s show, but I always wondered what happened to her. I got caught up on comic vines page about her and thought it was odd that they turned her into a vampire, it seemed very different far fetched to be an x-men story, but as i said i didnt read it so maybe it worked well. Either way it would make sense for her to have her mutant powers back now. Having used Wolverines blood to keep her vampiric cravings to a minimum she could maybe be cured now. They could probably write it with a twist saying that her mutant powers and wolverines blood serum somehow worked together to cure her. Who knows.

I was a little skeptical by a quote I read on the recent comic vine news page about the details of the series. It said there would be love, sex and relationships, which obviously isnt bad, but with the quote you posted I hope they dont over sexualize the characters and i hope they dont give off the whole I am woman hear me roar feel i get when i read Captain Marvel. There should just be good story telling in a book that happens to have a female lead and an all female cast.

I feel like it would be tough for the writers but it is possible. Those three arent some of the most recognizable and favorite mutants just because they are white males, but they are well known, well loved, and legitimately interesting characters. If they were originally females then maybe this wouldnt be the case because a long time ago comics were read by mostly men or kids, which is similar to today but id say less kids read them and more women than before. The characters might not have made it through the test of time because people back then would rather see male heroes than female heroes. If they were killed off or left the team and then replaced with a female character in the present and if the story was written well then i think it could work, but people will always want to have them get brought back due to their history with them

With the recent death of Peter Parker a lot of fans have been crying fowl. Which iconic character would you kill off from either Marvel or DC that hasnt already died in the past 15 years and who do you want to replace them? Consider characters you hate and characters you love and how good the following stories could be if that character died.
