I think Marvel used all of their marketing on AvX earlier this year. There was release parties at comic shops everywhere and buttons with "Team X-Men" and "Team Avengers" given out. The marketing for this I would say was equal to The New 52. Marvel Now! seems like an afterthought in many ways marketing wise.

I really, really wish AMC would pick this up for a live action series.

YES!

AMC could Do no harm!!!! They made Walking Dead it par with comics.

Just think of the small differences they could do on a tv version of Y the Last Man like Walking Dead. As long as there is a monkey, amazons, and Yorick I will be hooked.

@TimmyGrunt: Well with Marvel NOW it's a good jumping on point for all the X-Titles, Uncanny X-Men and All New X-Men are meant to be the main/core books so you should prob check them out

I agree. Both titles are going to be written by Bendis, this leads me to believe he working up for one whole story through the 2 titles.

Thanks for posting your Superman motion comic. I enjoyed the editing and since this is only a test run, the future looks very promising!

I thought that Schism was so poorly written because the characters were so off base in that story.

At least Warsong gave us the Stepford Cuckoos origin story. I will agree with the other selections listed here though.

that wedding issue was pointless on many levels. It sold comics so the main focus worked. Joss' Astonishing and the current Astonishing are 2 completely different titles. Surprised they didn't drop this one in the Marvel Now launch.

Kitty vs Emma would be an interesting fight. I would like to see Kitty go through Emma's diamond form.

I will say that DC seems to have more b**ls than Marvel. Any company that can rebrand itself and then make it a success is impressive. On that note, Marvel has copied DC (previously mentioned with Justice League and Avengers) and DC has copied Marvel (Teen Titans and X-Men). I just don't think Marvel NOW can compete with the New 52. I like the shuffling of writers and creative teams, but there is no reason to cancel flagship series or completely change them (see Uncanny X-men and Amazing/Superior Spiderman).

I think a private investigator could work for Clark Kent. He already has this kind of experience as a reporter. Clark could also choose what kind of cases he would take on.
