- I am in the process of reading every issue I can get a hold of, of pre-slott spider-man. I couldn't disagree more that the title has been stagnent for that long.. I didn't realize how much I'd enjoy spider-man minus recent events like spider-island, ends of the earth...... For the last few years however there's nobody to blame but slott for it becoming same old, month after month. Marvel seriously has no respect for readers if this is the kind of storyline its publishing. I HAVE been "voting" with my wallet, I haven't been buying a LOT of titles I might otherwise. I've it to a minimum, sparing my money for after this is over.
@vegandiet
slott has no interest writing about the supporting cast. Parker's family/friends could spot that phony a mile away, especially since he "deleted" pp life (how idiotic was that?!).. Oh and other heroes, madame web, phychics...... EVEN JJJ, as one dimensional as slott's writing him as, can tell there's something up.
I could almost read it, if PP ghost guided otto to a better life.. but hes clearly setting himself up as a new kingpin. Faking everyone out, because he thinks he's above everyone.. Especially the "villains". He's pretending to be a hero because he's arrogant to think he can pull it off forever.. Which makes this whole "I'll be a 'superior' spider-man" thing a total crock of !@%*$#! Its not that he doesn't know how to be good, he doesn't care...
