I guarantee you a lot of Christian and Muslim Apologists will use Higgs Bosom "God Particle" as some sort of evidence for Yahweh's Existence and Creation Power.
I am afraid that it's already happening in different parts of the world. Even Hindus are citing that there are verses in Vedas about Higgs Boson.

@Freakologist: Nice explanation lol. The mounting evidence found for it is another success in the achievement of science, not evidence of God at work. Oh and I'm reading a great book by the philsopher Daniel Dennett by the way. It's Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon. It's a brilliantly written book that has several great scientific explanations such as evolutionary theory and memetic theory to study the origins of religion, the evolution of religion, religious belief, whether religion makes us moral amongst others. It's a really good book.
I've read Breaking the Spell and it is superlative in every way. I like the way he discusses the ideas that Hitchens and Dawkins only touches upon in their books in such a great detail and without the hauteur for the people who tend to disagree. Darwin's Dangerous Idea: Evolution and the Meanings of Life is another great book by him which you might wanna read.

I've heard theories such as the universe having simmilar conditions to that of a black hole before the big bang. I mean that in the sense of a infinitely mass-less, highly dense area that takes up zero space where time doesn't exist. That's scientifically sound as far as I am concerned but here is where it gets a little hard to believe for me. Scientist/Physicist believe that a sub atomic particle appeared from nowhere as they occasionally do at the sub atomic level and caused the creation of everything you see before you. I'm also aware of the existence of anti-matter and realize that there are an equal amount of positrons as there are electrons etc... So the universe adds up to zero. My question is.. if the universe was created in a situation that can be re-created naturally why is there only one universe?
Well no matter how hard it is for you to believe, CERN is 99.99% sure that they have found Higgs Boson. As for the Multiverse theory, many related theories and experiments are underway regarding that. Scientists are constantly searching for the answers, and in the only correct way. It would be an understatement to say that it is amazing how much more the coming generations would know because of science...
