Mmmm... It,s a fine issue. Most point for the art only.
What made me instrested from 1st issue is that the book is about blue beatle versus (another) green lantern by giffen himself. But the book has to many conversation. The 2nd issue...is the 1st time K,rot, piggy, and cat show up. I were surprised to see captain carrot incarnation change from superman wannabe into criple jerk rabbit bounty hunter (to think more about it somehow he look like han solo right now)...which i think good. This issue is no different... But somehow the surprise element isn,t as no. 2
... i dunno what to say... but... after reading and watch it, harper somehow remind me of amalgamation of catwoman and robin. i meant she has the spirit and the stuborness of both... and ow yea... she remind me of girl with dragon tattoo too.
yes. this issue certainly the emotional one.
tomasi surely can captured how deep bruce feeling got hurt.
this look promising. i meant its much much better then the previous issues.
for me the good is that the final gave me some relief. the bad is that the series is to long. i get that some needed to gave the experience of dispair to us as our heroes face a difficult situation.
this swamthing might not be alan moore swamthing... To take horror fiction character and merge it to superheroes world could be a mess, but Snyder and Paquette has done it. Kudos.
i agree to some point... especially the part that i think we all bored about the death... but to be honest, u know we all know the truth, we desprately "love" the other way. we actually do love the "death story" becoz it fuel with emotion.. anger, sadness, dissappointed, hope, etc...
i too have read "death or tragic story" many times. but few gave me an impact or flooding me with such emotions... like if i was batman (now), i might become red lantern at once and pull out talia heart, tear down damian's twin, then rampage to dc office and cursing GM and/or the editorial... (lol...j/k)... okey that's a bit to much. But i have to say... this one is quite good and well executed death story.
I enjoy this issue. But i,m a bit surprised to see war got ambushed by hermes... Or is he really?
to be honest, the 1st time i not really familiar with this new title. And then i try no. 1 bcoz of the cover ( a guy with GL ring in his chest)... but the fact, what really cought me with this title is the reintroduce of captain K-rot and the gank... suddenly the whole aura of the comic kind of fun and fresh. of course the battle of blue beetle and GL kind of what i waited too. I suprised that captain K-rot is very much different with his previous or original design. but i still like it. i hope this title can continue.
and... kudos for giffen. no other people handle bb-jamie better then he
after i read the story... somehow i remember "identity crisis" and probably mixed with "war world hulk"... this issue has potential for a big story, indeed... but (yes there is but)... to blame cap for the decision they already took togather ... its kind of feel silly (or maybe childist) and unresponsible...but oh right, its the iluminati... all mighty and greatest superhero of marvel in secret chamber. its their trendmark.
