@SpidermanWins: I highly doubt Batman is going to instil fear into Cap. He's been through a lot worse. Cap has arguably one of the highest amount Will in Marvel. I wouldn't doubt it if he was more powerful than Hal. But Batman with a Sinestro corps ring would be deadly as well.
I'm not sure about that but he sure does have a lot of it. If anyone can instill fear in someone as hardy as Cap the Batman can. They are both nearly perfect for their ring's emotional genre. Batman, however is of far greater intellect. His especially imaginative and graphic mind will help him create far more complex constructs from his ring. I think that will be his main advantage.
but it's not really about complexity. it's really just about strength. a futuristic rocket launcher is cool, but a straight up energy beam is just as effective.
@Youngcircle: 1. Spider-man has friggin' morals, thats why he is a hero... there is someone named VENOM or KAINE who were evil, so there you go. 2. The Avengers, X-Men, and any of the Fantastic Four could easily beat Spider-man, so where are you getting that Spider-man could rule New York 3. You ever heard of Mr. Negative or Hell's Kitchen or The Kingpin. All of those gangs could defeat Spider-man, so if Peter became a "crime lord" he would not last long.
1. I know he is a hero.. 2. Not really, Parker with prep could beat all of those team with absoulute ease so... 3. Sure I know about them, I just know that Parker would kick their asses and become the new big man.
how can you say in your right mind statement #2, and your pushing it with statement #3. you are being as bad as a batman fanboy.
what should people know before reading either of these? I need things like backstory, main characters, previous events, etc. this is for people who know nothing about comics.
i'll start. civil war: the whole new warriors event IC: Alex Luthor, Superman, Lois, and Superboy-prime are from a different universe because theirs got destroyed.
