Even though Batman Forever is my favorite movie and the Riddler my favorite character, I really deslike every character development in it. One of the things that bothers me most is the whole Riddler/Two Face relationship. That's just wrong, Two Face acts like a henchman the whole movie and suddenly the Riddler is super awesome, c'mon lol. They could never be "bff's" as the movie shows in any comic book I've ever read with Two Face involved.
Well, the whole arc beetween Hush and The Legends of the Dark Knight is a great thing for Riddler fans. (Expecially if you don't like the whole "old looking" art thingy).
Hush 1-12 (He's only on the #12 though) - Gotham Knights 50-55 "Pushback"- Detective Comics 797-799 "Low" - Legends of the Dark Knight 185-189 "Riddle Me That". After that I think there's those issues with the Riddler and the Green Arrow and some other people. Editions later the Edward is back on Detective Comics #822 "E.Nigma Consulting Detective" and reformed and stuff. I don't really go for the whole private detective thing he's on, but the most recent issues like Gotham City Underground and Gotham City Sirens are actually pretty good. There's also Batman Confidential 26-28 (I think) which is alright.
Anyway there's a lot of good Riddler stories out there but I think they are mostly "old looking". Those are which I remember being "modern" lol.
I'm for either David Tennant, Henry Gale or Stephen Colbert.
Johnny Depp and that bull* it was that rumor of Eddie Murphy justno, no and no.
Although about the Colbert thing it's just because a few days ago I drew a picture of the Riddler and it I've been told it looked like Stephen and since then I cannot unsee Colbert as the Riddler, lol.
I was about 11, had some change in my pocket, were hanging in a bookstore waiting for my parents, saw "X-men", bought it, read it and 8 years later here I am.
Hey guys, I'm new. I collect comics books since I was 11 (I'm 19, F, etc). I used to collect X-Men back then, and I had this huge thing against DC, the only two things I liked where Lobo and Batman The Animated Series. After a few years I got annoyed with Marvel in general and the comic books editors we have here where I live, so I gave up on Marvel. I stopped collecting stuff for quite sometime, but then I got around on reading "Killing Joke" and fell in love with Batman and then with DC. (I never knew why I used to deslike DC so much when I was younger, though). Anyway, my favorite character is The Riddler, I course Games Design in college I enjoy long walks on the beach and etc (No really).
The whole scene with the Scarecrow and Chechen is my favorite, but "I told you my compounds would take you places. I never said it would be places you wanted to go" makes me smile everytime. And I don't even like the Scarecrow, lol.
Also the little "He does that" Gordon says to Harvey when they are on the top of the roof talking to Batman, and when they turn, Batman is gone. So pure.
Detective Comics Annual #8 tells the story of The Riddler. His story is my favorite, but he's my favorite character, so yeah. There's a few others random edtions telling he's story with minor changes, but the Annual will probably tell you everything you'd like to know.
