I am aware the Fantastic Four are technically "adventurers" for the sake of this list I will forget that. The Fantastic Four are like a family, probably one of the only teams you couldn't see with an entirely different lineup. Not to mention they can take on evil dictators, shape shifting aliens, and world eaters.

This Golden Age team is awesome for a special reason. I had a lot of friends who don't like DC because Superman,and Batman are pretty much the ones that get the most attention. I don't agree, but even if I did, this team would still be awesome. The Justice Society doesn't need Superman or Batman to be awesome. They already have a Green Lantern, a Flash, the smartest man on earth, the greatest sorcerer,etc. The Society is a love letter to the Golden Age.

The X-men exist to prove mutants can be a force for good, and over the years, they've proved that over and over again. The x-men have fought a living island, a master of magnetism, and the reincarnation of evil.

The Avengers have fought gods, demon leaders,robots bent on destroying humanity, and time travelers. They've fought alongside giants, more gods, and legends. I don't know if I agree that they are "Earth's Mightiest Heroes", but they are certainly awesome.

The Justice League has probably one of the most frequently changed rosters on this list, but despite that they've managed to defeat evil alien overlords, evil versions of themselves, and mind controlling starfish aliens. No matter who is in it, the Justice League can't be easily beat.

The Suicide Squad is awesome. I highly doubt there are many people out there who can say a team made up of the joker's crazy girlfriend, a B-list sniper, a Flash villain who throws boomerangs, and a girl who controls ice, led by a less likable DC version of Nick Fury, is not awesome. If someone did, they'd obviously be wrong.

The rest of the teams on this list are awesome, but I can't really say I'd want to join them. The Green Lantern's on the other hand, I'd join in a heartbeat. They have rings limited only by your imagination, get to meet aliens, and are space cops, which is awesome.

The Inhumans are kind of like the X-Men. The difference is, the Inhumans are like a civilization. Cut off from mankind, they create their own utopia. I have to say I'd love to join them to.

The Defenders are a team I found out about recently compared to the other teams on this list. I like the defenders because they're all loners. Take the original roster for example. The Hulk quit the Avengers in the second issue because he felt they didn't trust him, Dr. Strange already wasn't much of a team player, and Namor isn't a team player. The defenders for me was a team of people who like to works alone, working together.

Call me a sucker for the Golden Age, I love this team. Made up of Captain America, Bucky, the original Human Torch and his sidekick Toro, and Namor, they were Marvel or in this time, Timely Comics' best team. Not to mention having other kooky members such as The Whizzer, Miss America, and Union Jack.
