@theonetaichou: The scale of everything Aizen does is much smaller by a huge margin, so...how would supes get crushed by rietsu, again?
If you're referring to the regular people torn apart....they're regular people, dude. Regardless of how spiritually aware they are, they only have human durability. Superman could have 0 rietsu (be dead, basically) and resist the full force of soul crush with durability alone....he tanks Omega beams.
However, soul crush isn't even an option here...im going to try applying an analyzation of mine here. Now, reiatsu is spiritual pressure, which is how strong a spirit is. A spirit with no reiatsu is dead. A body with no spirit is...empty, I guess, but basically dead. Supes is alive....so he has a spirit. He has a spirit....so there must be reiatsu. Why would it be any less than his average level of any other stat?
Basically I'm calling bull on the whole "each universe has its own energy" thing. Some cases are specific, like Youki being demon energy (which is relatable to DMC demon energy, YYH, claymore, inuyasha...) while reitsu is literally the same thing as chakra or ki, only the naruto universe puts its to different use by infusing it with elements or nature sometimes... which contradicts nothing as literally all these universes have energies being mixed with stuff. It is life energy.
Why would a thing who's energy is lower than superman's....period...have a higher life energy than superman, who has higher everything?
In other words, if you wanna prove your point that reiatsu is so specific, can you provide an instance where a weaker character ever defeated a stronger character, simply because the weaker guy had a stronger reiatsu....which by logic would be a nearly daily occurance on the Bleach universe's earth. Because if this doesnt happen, then this means that reiatsu is NOT a specific technique or ability and is instead equal to a person's level of overall power....which would mean that Superman has more reiatsu than Aizen (even if he can't access it by not being dead or spiritually aware).
If this were a closer match, such as if Aizen were a planetary level character, this would mean nothing and it would be impossible to tell who is stronger (which is normal, look at Sakaki vs Apachai from HSDK), but given the massive gap in power one could easily determine at a glance that Aizen's zanpakto won't work on a character of this level.
Oh, and just in case, Aizen using KS on Juha Bach is not evidence of weaker>stronger via reiatsu. Juha had an army, Aizen essentially solo'd, making Aizen>Juha
