He goes on a soul searching trip and realizes that he should go back and the X-men are suddenly facing a magical enemy that Pixie's teleport doesn't work against and then Kurt wrecks the guy and is like "Hey I'm useful after all! Go me!" If you're a Nightcrawler fan I think you die a little inside. XD
It's not Pixie's fault that someone let these sorts of stories happen, but yeah I think that might be some of the cause of the hate...just terrible writing that every character had to suffer through for awhile and she was in the spotlight during alot of it. So guilt by association.
@DarkDay: yeah, Pixie gets a weird popularity backlash that I've never understood; I think she's a lot of fun.
Well I think it is because of some of the stories that were coming out because of her popularity at the time (or more likely her popularity just happened during a strange batch of story telling)...some of them were just plain stupid and others were a lot of other character bashing...and one that annoys me to no end is both of these things:
So yes while I'm not saying the hate makes sense, I can say that I understand. lol I love Nightcrawler and I was actually shocked when I started reading this one. I even nerd raged. Then I laughed pretty hard at just how iffy writing was getting during this time period. For further examples just search Colossus's tattoo. XD
I never read this one; what was so infuriating about it?

Domino I like, but as @DarkDay: pointed out, she'd probably be put to better use elsewhere. Can't really see her standing out on this team.

@dangallant984: Then I agree. Even about Pixie. I think she could work and the character development she had before was mostly good stuff, so I'd be interested to see where it would go.
Edit: @AgeofHurricane: Agreed about Warpath too. Though I think I'd let Domino stay with Cable.
@dangallant984: Domino and Warpath...and Elixir, that one-shot issue of himself and Wolverine going over to track some monster down was phenomenal, came out like last August from his series, but it the story was set some time before Necrosha, so it wasn't current Josh, still. They had a bond going on, especially with his involvement in X-Force and all. It was nice.
I'd actually rather Wolverne's solo series to feature some kids from the New X-Cast instead of the same old rehashed villains to give the title some substantial credibility, because that issue showed that it does have the potential to be more than just a 'Wolverine title for the sake of having one'. Cause right now that title's crap, and i don't even read it.

Because, Wolvie doesn't have enough sidekicks. More Wolverine sidekicks is a must...
But honestly I don't really mind, I think it could work from a character development point of view and I think with that as the focus that would be an awesome roster. Though, that better not be AoA Kurt... >_>

I'll admit, she's the biggest stretch, but I've always liked their relationship, and with the rest of this group she just seemed to make sense.

Actually, Armor's the only part of this team that makes sense to me.
Admittedly, I mostly like her from Whedon's run. It's too bad that (other than the Alpha & Omega mini series) they haven't done much with her in a while. Aaron should've added her to the main cast of WatX-men, in my opinion.
