Nathaniel Steven Cross
Nathan's passion is first and foremost science. He loves making new inventions and finding out new ways to handle things. Besides just engineering he also loves to delve into mythology and biology making him an adept doctor and archeologist. His personality is of pretty much every nerd, he's terribly curious about everything and he hasn't quite lost his innocence despite his age and what he has seen in life. He's a very loving person and there is nothing he wouldn't do for his family and friends and loves to be surrounded by them. He feels violence is the last answer and will give people chance after chance to prove themselves which can also be a weakness of him. Overall, he's a very loving, kind and warm person.

When Nathan transforms into Feniks however, not only his powers change but also his personality. Besides his intelligence he also gains years and years of wisdom knowing that love isn't always the answer and that sometimes violence has to be used in order to protect the world. He becomes a prideful warrior. He has a strong, stubborn personality but with a great sense of honor. Where Nathan in his normal states tries to find more diplomatic ways out of a conflict, Feniks will do everything in his power to stop any evil plans and not shy away from a battle.

Strength

His strength in his transformed state goes well beyond the 100 tons. However, Feniks usually holds back when using his great strength so that he does not kill his opponents or negatively affect the area in which they are in.

Durability

Feniks's durability is such that he can withstand great blunt force trauma of beings within the same strength class as himself. He is however more vulnerable to cuts, lacerations and punctures. While he can withstand small caliber fire he will have more trouble with large caliber fire which might cause him injury.

Agility and speed

His agility and speed are well above that of any normal human being in his transformed state. Despite his impressing physique he can still move very nimble when he has to but he prefers to stand tall and take the punishment due to his sense of honor.

Weather control

With the help of his hammer he's able to control the weather in any way he pleases. He normally uses the hammer to channel this power because it's easier for him to control his power like this. He does not need it however to use these skills. He is able to command every known weather pattern to the world, whether this means lightning, wind, rain, ice or even full blown tornado's. He is however very aware of his surroundings and what damage these powers could cause to it and will prefer to duke it out with his fists first before turning to his powers.

His major skills include his science. He has various medical, engineering and archeological degrees in his pocket. Besides his great scientific mind the hammer (when used) grants him great wisdom in the fields of fighting skills, battle tactics and leadership.

Gear

Hey, look at my hammer!

With the help of his mighty hammer he's able to transform into his Feniks state. The hammer is practically invulnerable to any earthly known materials. It is a mix between magic and science like the world has never seen, Nathan continues to run tests on it to find out new things about his weapon which intrigues him to no end since the hammer isn't build from earthbound materials rendering it useless to magnetism. However, since the hammer is too heavy to cary with him in his normal state and does not wish to be 'trapped' in his transformed state all the time he has found a new way to take his hammer with him. After extensive research he has been able to transform his hammer into a metal cane which he has on his person at all time. Only during his transformation to Feniks does it turn into his original state of a hammer.

With his hammer he's able to gain control of his weather powers and even when he loses his hammer in battle he can summon it to his hand. The hammer however can only be used in his hands as he has reprogrammed the hammer to only grant him access to it. In time however, he plans to give his friends access to the power of the hammer in case of emergency or when he has fallen in battle. In any other non authorized hands the hammer will send out a powerful shock and will increase it's mass until it's practically impossible to lift even for those with superstrength.
