It felt like a bit of a stumble, this issue didn't it? Not terrible by any means but the story had been building and building so magnificently and then... meh. I was pretty disappointed to see the momentum sacrificed for what seemed to be a set up for the inevitable spin off issues. And, like you said, such a shame to lose Fabok for even only one or two issues. I absolutely love Manupul's art, but it is so drastically different in tone that it really threw me. I hope the rest of the story does not get side tracked with having to shoe horn in spin off set ups. This could really be one of the great Justice League and/or DC epics.
I love you. I love your writing. I love your passion. I love your lucid and transparent head when it comes to the written word and all it entails. You are a credit to this universe and all the small people who try to maintain it.
Man, i absolutely love your reviews @rideaspacecowboy Whenever i need a remedy to the barrage of "dude, it's just a comic" comments, i find a ready solution in your writing. Fantastic summation of the issue and, as always, plenty of food for thought. Thanks man and please don't stop.
