@sheldipez: Fair point. Although I don't like the idea of him dying I think it should be a while, as there are too many comic deaths that are changed soon. Look at Jason he was dead for years and that really help his character development.

This, sir, is the funniest statement I've read all day. Thank you.

Hopefully they kill him in a way that does the character justice, so that no one will want to bring him back. While I've grown fond of the character over the last six months or so, It's important to know that he was a character created with the intent of killing him off, so as long as they do it right I'll be satisfied.

It should be pointed out that I've noticed IGN has a pretty strong bias (overall) towards Marvel.

That being said, both have a pretty good selection of villains outside of spider/batman.

Why no Cyborg? ( I got all excited to vote for him when I read the prompt).

The argument for Aquaman is more convincing than I'd like to admit.

Here's another way of thinking about it though, rather than the air/earth/sea division: We have Superman, the charismatic figurehead and leader; Wonder Woman, the military commander; and Batman for special ops. with that sort of division, rather than the Greek mythology division, the current trinity makes more sense (also, Aquaman still has a way to go PR wise before he could be accepted as a member of the trinity).

He does have a good point. While Vertigo, in my opinion, should stay away from producing cape comics (for reasons of keeping non-superhero comics alive), there's no reason they should be cancelling series that will be making them profit.

...They cancelled all 3 DC books I had decided to keep reading (Deathstroke, Team7, and Ravagers). Seems like I've been carelessly ejected from the DC Universe.

Ravagers I can understand; it just hasn't been very interesting. Team7, though, just started, and was working itself into a groove. It seems--so far, at least--like one that will (or would have gotten) much better with time.

Deathstroke's cancellation was basically a given, though it makes me angrier than all hell. The blood is completely on DC's hands for this. The bumbling ignorance and lack of forethought with which they managed this series seems so pointed that I almost think that they were purposefully aiming to decimate the series like they did.

round 1: I'll go with Panther on this one. I don't think he'd give Slade time to create and execute a plan. (I generally give this to Slade when there's a third combatant, since that gives him breathing room to analyze his foes and plan)

round 2: I almost said Panther, but the above discussion has me solidly on Slade now.

round 3: I'll go with Slade for this one, since I gave him the above.

round 4: Deathstroke, decently securely. (unless Panther preps as well as, say, Midnighter). I interpret many of the stories that people consider as PIS as the writers really saying that Deathstroke has phenomenal prep.

Don't worry, just say you're straight and most of us will leave you alone. If they're being aggressive about it, it's within your rights to be an asshole to them.

Most importantly, just don't stress about it. Seriously. Even if you need to be a total ass to drive off someone. We probably had to do the same to him as well at some point(s).

Given how poorly Deathstroke has been selling, lets hope his comic has a future in 2013.

Jason received a lot of H2H training, but he's not Batman. Besides, his pre-new52 showings aren't very special.
