I can breath easier now that he knows. Our friendship remains in tact and we both love each other to bits. But its still hard going through life knowing you care so much for someone you can;t necessarily have. Married men with lousy wives who make them miserable suck >.>

Do I want the friendship where I pretend he doesnt mean the world to me? Or do I want the rejection where I know I mean nothing to him?

I don't know what she was trying. But I was dating a really, really hot girl. I wasn't the best with breakups and I always end up hurting someone's feelings. I'm not always subtle with breakups. I don't know but her hotness blinded me, she also knew about ComicVine and told me to get off it. She started saying things like "what's the difference between a black person and an ape?", it was only when I woke up and got back into things. That I could break up with her. I've boxed for a while so she might have felt protected by me. But when I broke up with her she went mad and ripped down my Malcolm X poster. Then I really told her to get out.

Slap that bish...

@Static Shock:

It's really ridiculous how much racism effects our world today. I stand firm that we all bleed the same. We may look different but inside we are all the same. Even my grandmother agrees with me and she's in her 70's. So it goes to show that even the people who lived and were apart of the 60's as adults can have different opinions from their own children.

Is the South as racist as they say?

Yes, it is. It doesn't bother me as much as it used to, however.

I know this was a question to you but I feel I need to put my two sense in as well.

The South is so very racist. It is filled with bible thumping, ignorant, single minded individuals who cannot wrap their tiny brains around anything that's new. I say this being from the South and from one of the more ignorant states. It's still frowned upon for people to have interracial relationships, same sex relationships, or to even date online. I have friends who are in interracial relationships and same sex relationships and I am constantly getting crap from my parents about it. My mother made the comment one day that I should get new friends because they are either dating someone from another race or are gay. My father and I have had a heated argument about interracial relationships and its annoying. I even went as far as telling my dad he was close minded and needed to stop living in the 60's. I see it more with the white parents then I do with the African American crowd. But I know that its not just the white people who have this opinion.

I'm still trying to figure out why when people see a girl and a guy together having fun and laughing together they assume they are a couple. Or when the two are always together or asking about the other people assume there are some underlying feelings going unspoken. It's rather stressful trying to explain to everyone that he is married and I'm not messing with that.

Sometimes I wish things were different. And the you open your mouth and then I remember why we'd never work.
