Whilst I am enjoying Constantine in JLD, I picked it up because, although I wasn't a fan of the idea of a watered down Constantine, I loved the idea of him being a leader of a DC magic team because there is no greater candidate if one of them was Constantine. But Hellblazer was one of the titles I read early on and, for combined enjoyability and nostalgia, it is one of my favourite series. I will miss Hellblazer but I shan't get involved with the new series, though I wish Mr Venditti the best of luck. I shall continue with JLD, because I can enjoy tamer Constantine if he's leading, but I probably won't if he's alone,

My favourite development about all of this is that now, Cyclops is officially the Biggest Prick in the Marvel Universe. I've been calling it for decades but it's nice for it to be official.

AvX is the first crossover I bought all the tie-in comics for (Obviously not Consequences or A+X yet). Whilst it could've been shorter, and with the fact a large number of the developments were predictable, I enjoyed it. I like crossovers because what's the point of having a detailed an expansive Universe if nearly everyone doesn't get together and, almost pointlessly, beat the snot out of each other occasionally?

I adore the Planetoid cover, it's one of my absolute favourites. Plus, y'know, Planetoid is decidedly awesome.

Quite like some of the Spider-man ones, but some of them are a bit naff.

Whilst I think Nolan's films are the more enjoyable Batman films I am not overly fussed about DKR. I shall go and see it in a couple of weeks time but I am not massively excited about it, but that's probably more because I don't really care for Batman (the character. not necessarily the series) than I dislike Nolan's effort. Still, I very much understand where you are coming from.

It doesn't matter in the least, each to their own.

Having said that, I think that it is not out of turn for me to say that you'd probably make a considerable fortune running a business that makes and repairs capes in the DC universe whilst the same company would be bankrupt within a week in the Marvel Universe.

Rocket Raccoon is going to be hard to sell to any non comic fan so I wouldn't get your hopes up for him being there.

Whilst comic-book super-hero films have been doing well in the pass decade+ there hasn't yet been one that truly attests to the ridiculous levels of suspending belief comic-books can get to. Though Guardians is not the most craziest, I feel not just Rocket Racoon but the whole she-bang will be hard to sell to non-comic-book fans and that is why I am looking forward to it if it's confirmed. I am certain I will love every minute of it. And, If it is made and shifts well then Marvel/Disney will have done something truly astounding.

Drax and Starlord. All I ask for is that they're not FUBAR'd.

And that

I feel, quite frankly, you can sod your annoyingly non-Liverpudlian Mage, narcissistic alcoholic in a technological wonder, orphan unafraid to show his fetish for nocturnal mammals, angsty teenage girls leaving school, teenage all-round loser bitten by a spider, miserable git dealing with his cancer, extraterrestrial demi-gods and his family problems and an outta time super-soldier; this, THIS is the comic-book film adaptation I want to see. Peter Quill is a fucking star

...Lord
