Heroes & Villains that deserve a movie or another chance

OK so there are a lot of characters that are unique, original and bad ass and could definitely headline or be part of a movie. There have also been a lot of other movies based on comics...in case you were unaware but sometimes they lead to sequels or utterly fail thus putting an end to the franchise/possibility of ever seeing them again. These are just some of these characters who need a shot at redemption to wash the shame of a bad movie or past series off and start anew.

  • I love Bane he has an awesome history and abilities. This guys a genius, a great fighter HE BROKE THE BAT(man)and he is a super strong steroid addict OH THE COMPLEXITY!

Sadly Bane was bastardized in the train wreck of a movie Batman & Robin. They ruined him...it was tragic because he was reduced to a mindless brawler/enforcer and without his roids he's a little scrawny guy......not true and not cool, without his roids he is still pretty big and strong AND A GENIUS. He could be in a Batman movie...it could work or put him in a Secret 6 movie, the boy deserves another chance he's awesome.

  • The merc with a mouth...my favorite character for yeeeeears. Sure there is talk of Deadpool movie but I won't believe it until its in production or something like that. This guy is great and his movie could be so awesome; he's an (literally) insane gun slinger and sword swinger who can heal from almost anything and has gross skin is gross.

  • Whether friend or foe Selina Kyle is pretty awesome. She was great in "Batman Returns" but also in the horribly terrible "Catwoman." I'm not saying she doesn't deserve or need her own movie but I think she would fit best in a future Batman movie.

  • Come on he's a cop...with super powers....and he is a space dragon guy. He also has an awesome mohawk/head fin.

  • I'm a big fan of vampires in all media and vampire slaying is pretty awesome too and Blade brings both...which is awesome. I'm a big fan fan of his first 2 movies....the 3rd was annoying/terrible and did not do Blade justice. I know there has been talk of rebooting the Daywalker, as long as he is back on screen or TV (i never saw the actual TV show)it works for me.

  • Sure he is kind of a dick...but I would love to see an American Vamp movie. Either based on the first arc (with Pearl becoming one) or the back up story about what happened to Skinner and his origin.

  • Boston Brand is one of my favorite characters and his situation blows but I love reading it and seeing how everything unfolds. Sure it might be hard to convince the powers to be at DC to make a Deadman movie but i'd see it.

  • A tormented man whose inner-demons manifest themselves in a physical metamorphosis into a gigantic green brute.......whats not to love? But luckily the talented Mark Ruffalo will be portraying the jade giant.

  • I personally liked the movie "Daredevil" and Elektra's portrayal in the movie (a little too much leather in the whole thing but...) Instead of doing a proper Daredevil sequel they decided to give Elektra her own spin off...which wasn't terrible but it was far from good FAAAAAR from it. With talk of a Daredevil reboot maybe Elektra will get another chance to grace the silver screen.

  • So she had her own movie that was....to put nicely...CRAP but this Kryptonian beauty deserves another shot at fame. it was great seeing her on the small screen in "Smallvile;" she was played by the gorgeous Laura Vandervoort who I think should be the first pick to play her in a movie but who knows what the filmmakers will do. I think she deserves to be on the big screen again; if she doesn't get a movie of her own it'd be cool if she could play a part in the new Superman movie.

Maybe she shows up after the credits.

maybe she watches over a young Clark (she is technically older)

Maybe she is a plot device, people/organizations find her ship or something like that

  • How can the first family of Marvel not be a solid franchise? The characters are great, origin story is solid, interesting villains (Doc Doom, Galactus and Mole Man& yes Mole Man would be awesome in a movie)and you don't even have to have Reed and Sue get married yet. These four deserve ANOTHER shot at movie stardom because you can't deny they're awesome

  • Well, X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a good try but disappointing, very disappointing actually. We can always hope for another X-Men sequel but lets face it the mutants r going in a different direction that probably won't feature Wolverine (though his cameo in first class was great). Hopefully the continually delayed "The Wolverine" will getting going and the sequel will redeem Wolverine and get the sour taste of Origins out of our mouths.

  • Creeper here should get a chance at fame. He has had some kooky origin stories but whatever they are he is still pretty awesome and not quite sane.

  • Come on he is the King of Atlantis torn between Land and sea!

  • Why is it that the best Tarzan movie is an animated Disney movie? This character needs to be brought back into the world. He is such a badass. How could this franchise not be reborn? He jumps around in a jungle full of awesome apes using his bare hands to survive...awesome. I would even bet a TV series would be good. Tarzan deserves a triumphant return to the silver screen or even the small screen.

  • Remember the old Howard the Duck movie? And yes that is a real movie, but its lame. For quite an underrated character he's really fun. Guardians of the Galaxy brought him into the MCU so hopefully we'll be seeing more of him.
