The assist from Cat's divine lightning has put an end to Zeon's demonic capabilities. The scene hushed the many voices circling in the Dread Pirates head as Zeon flailed around without any connection to the Cardinal Hell.

"Heh," She grunted, not toward Zeon, but the spirit of Cat. The ghostly figure smiled before throwing up a 'peace' sign before dissipating into the air.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!?”

Zeon's guttural rage caused the ship's deck to tremor, a rage so potent that stilled waters became troubled. She didn't know how, but it felt as if superior beings conspired to bring about these events; as the former Cardinal Demoness tried to summon hellfire, she couldn't help but think that the Divine Blast was meant for her.

Caught up in Cat's departure, Faatina was nearly beheaded by Zeon's energy blade; Styx flew from Faatina's hand, clashing with the blade before it made contact. The Dread Pirate scoffed, impressed that even with her Demon powers nerfed, Zeon was still a credible threat.

Zeon's fist balled, and with it, Faatina's ship, the Seax, crumbled under Zeon's telekinetic might. "AVAST YE YOU BILGE SUCKING IDIOTS HOIST THE CHAOS DRIVE! Faatina commanded, prompting the ghostly crew to scammer around in panic.

As the ship began to submerge, a 'gong' sounded on the horizon; out in the veiled ocean, the Dreaded Fleet arrived, allowing the Fear Buccaneer to port herself from the dismantled Seax over to another ship in the Fleet. When Harmony latched on to Zeon's hands, it was an absolute win for Faatina.

She commanded the soul inside the sword to fly upward from her new ship, which would force Zeon upwards, provided she hadn't thought of a defense strategy. As Zeon shot skyward, Faatina would fire fear arrows from her bow, which would penetrate her niece's sternum in an attempt to quell the rage with fear.

Regardless, if the former Phenom managed to evade her fear Arrows, Faatina would command the entire Dreaded Fleet to fire their canons at the downed Liafador.

Shifting to the balls of her feet to increase evasiveness, the Dread Pirate bent at the knee's anticipating a clash with the Cardinal Demoness.

In the Dreaded Fleet setting, Faatina was the be all end all; Zeon's Cardinal abilities; did little to impress the dread pirate, but how arrogant was Marcos' daughter to clutch Harmony (Her blade).

Faatina eyed the situation as it happened. She recognized it as a layered attack. Zeon's energy blade effortlessly ripped through her shoulder; instead of Faatina letting loose a wail, her ship did it for her. There was no real correlation between the two, just a testament to how the Buccaneer could employ her abilities.

Faatina's blood hit the deck, in direct contrast to Zeon's; it appeared bubbly clear like tainted water. Zeon sought to bring down..... her blade; springing from the balls of her feet, Faatina executed a dodge roll to evade the maneuver but was caught squarely by Zeon's kick and subsequent TK blast. Like a bag in the wind, the Pirate's body was caught flailing in between the two maneuvers until being pushed back toward the walls of the captain's quarters. On instinct, the ship's walls hallowed out, allowing Faatina to fall right through the wall with the space she needed to execute a tuck into a crouched position.

Under the concealment of the wall, she forced her good hand up to channel Harmony. Much like it did with Faatina, the blade's hilt would try latch on to Zeon's hands and would only release upon Faatina's command.

In the act of hilarity, Faatina would summon the soul of Catalina Liafador and attempt to send it into Zeon's body. She sought to have the Divine Goddess summon the divine lightning upon herself, which would negatively react with Zeon's demonic make-up.

In any case, Faatina would 'teleport' via the ship and attack with 'Styx' in a blitz manner, aiming targeted strikes at both Zeon's legs before trying to use Harmony to send it's destructive energy flowing through Zeon.

The Dread Pirate chuckled at the thought of reviving the Cardinal Faith, she could use Catalina's psionic abilities to understand the thought process, but she didn't need to. There were only a handful of Liafadors left that would be able to fulfill the role.

I did not yield to your sister, nor to my father, nor my sister and I will not yield to you. You are not the first to threaten my life and you will not be the last. If you seek a Liafador to surrender themselves to you, I am not the one you seek. But if you're looking for Liafador to help you being destruction and death... I am the one you need.”

Upon completion of her sentence, Faatina's blades speared toward Zeon, one attempting to secure a cut across the midsection, the other from up high. She denied the Dread Pirate more than once, and without absolute compliance, the newly acquainted Liafador was now an enemy of the Cerise Squashbuckler.

Faatina absorbed the soul energy of her crew before leaping as high as the mast. Once she reached maximum altitude, one of her blades would break the offensive on Zeon and returned to her hands. Allowing her to plunge back toward the deck, releasing a shockwave of energy that'd hopefully allow her free blade to make a surgical strike.

"Is that right?" Faatina replied, repelling Zeon's chuckle with one of her own. The Knightfall-Liafador Hybrid extended her hands toward her weapons. The two wraith blades flew from the deck to her hands, the hilt of each latching on to her hands, filling the Cerise Buccaneer with the power of dread.

"Tell me then. Who replenishes your strength?" Faatina asked in a passerby; only she could manifest through the different souls surrounding the Cardinal Demoness.

"Surely, you know?" She wasn't referring to the likes of Ramon or her Mother rather someone to instill a doctrine. "Do you know why the Cardinal Religion was so powerful? It's because there was a Matriarch. Someone to define the limits of right and wrong within the theology. How can you send people to Cardinal Hell if there is no heaven? There is no longer a balance in the Cardinal Theology, dear niece. What happens to your immense power when the faith wanes?"

Faatina had always been in a prime position to sit back and allow the Liafadors to do the work for her; meddling in the affairs of an already self-destructive family was nonsensical. Catalina found a calling of sorts established herself outside of Liafador continuity. Zeon was the only one left, still hanging on to a doctrine that was obsolete without a Matriarch.

"The child," Faatina said, this time standing directly in front of Zeon with her blades digging into the deck. "She was apart of Catalina when she died; therefore, her soul belongs to me. If I wanted her, I would take her. And there's really nothing you'd be able to do about it; whether or not I'll allow you to keep her depends on how intelligent you are." She threatened. Before showing the soul energy of every living "Liafador," that would enter her purgatory because of lack of faith in some form. So-So, Mari, unless they pledged their allegiance to some religion once they passed, their souls belong to her.

"Trust me, child, I don't need to be your enemy. I can be the aunt you longed for. Teach you, mold you. Set you on your own path. Am I correct to believe that you sold your soul to Ramon? What do you think happens when the Cardinal faith dies? Where do you think their souls will go?

Faatina's wraith armor fixes her body as she prepares for a potential battle with the Cardinal Demoness. "This is your final offer. Young Zeon Liafador," Faatina's voice penetrates the chasm of voices in her head allowing her Indian accent to flourish. She wasn't Indian by birth, but years in India forced her to develop an accent.

Uncharacteristically, Zeon agreed. In doing so, Catalina retracts her bullwhip before teleporting them both from the streets of Malaga to the deck of the Seax. Catalina's body returned to its ghostly demeanor before descending below the deck without so much as a glance in her nemesis' direction. The morbid hymns of the damned came to a halt as the various specters trained their presence on Zeon's human flesh.

Both Faatina's blades Styx and Harmony, circled the mast as if they were chasing one another until they plummet into the deck right in front of Zeon. Finally, the intangible Dread Pirate became visible with both her hands clutching her wraith-like weapons. As she let the go, the swords levitate on their own and take position behind her as if they were her personal bodyguards.

In the Liafador Lineage, Faatina was an anomaly. She carried the darker tresses associated with the Liafador women, but her Knightfall features were dominant. She carried Sabella's blood, but Jayden's ambitions; those two elements coupled together placed her at the top of the food chain in either family tree.

"Aye love, Welcome to the Dreaded Fleet," Faatina called out while pacing around the Cardinal Demoness, sizing her up.

"So, you're the woman who killed my dear Half-Sister." Faatina continued her path around Zeon, the ship rocking as if it too was being controlled by Ruthless Raider.

"I don't know if I'm impressed. What do you think?" Her head turned over her shoulders, and her body-less crew cursed and booed at the presence of the Cardinal Demoness. "Yes, I thought she'd be taller too" She continued answering the many voices in her head.

"Child, I'm Faatina Knightfall. I happened upon the information that you killed my Half-Sister—no easy feat. I also control the Soul of Catalina Liafador; I'm sure you found that out. And very soon, I will own another former foe of yours. This is your first and final offer offspring of my half-brother. Bow down, pledge allegiance to me. Don't, and will personally deposit different parts of your body into the seven seas."

Overhead thunder rumbled, but this thunder spurred out of nothing. Divine in nature, with Catalina's soul in her possession the Dread Pirate was the Prize Fighter too.

This city was the birthplace of her family; it was once a symbol of Liafador Wealth and Prosperity; as the family grew, so did the city. For Catalina, it was a reminder of everything that was taken from her. Instead of being born according to family traditions, she was created in some lab, transferred to Belize, and would live a sub-human life.

She was being controlled by the 3rd Society when she burned it all to the ground, but in her quest to destroy the Liafador Empire, this would've been a target even if she weren't controlled. Now wasn't the time for after-life thoughts; Cat's psionic abilities pushed over the city multiple times but yielded no results. How did Faatina know Zeon was here?

As she prepared to return to Faatina, a final push of energy over the city pinged Zeon in Malaga. 'How the hell...' She thought, realizing there was no way Faatina could've known Zeon would show up here. There was no thought required, Faatina's commands took hold of Cat and without warning, she dashed through the Malaga Streets.

As she dashed, Cat's hands dropped down to her waist unclasping her conquistador bullwhip, launching herself high into the air she sought to entangle the Cardinal Demoness with her bullwhip, while constructing another psionic equivalent to ensnare Zeon's other side or explode within close proximity if unsuccessful.

"The Dread Pirate has summoned you" She called out devoid of any emotion, she was completely under the control of Faatina.

These familiar waters cause a smirk to stretch across the face of the dread pirate. Valencia Port, she used to call it home; she'd dock her fleet in the port and reek having during the witching hour. Since then, she roamed, with no specific goal in mind, other than adding more vessels to her fleet.

The Pirate Queen sat on her throne, listening to the whimpers of a failure with the melancholy moans of her ghost grew serenading her in the backdrop.

Despite his whimpering, she remained in a pretty stable mood, and recently she procured her niece's soul. Catalina died from some land borne virus, and though it came as a shock to the aged Liafador-Knightfall, she now had the final piece to ascend the top of 'Liafador Mountain.'

"You've put me in a pretty odd predicament." She called out from her throne, securing her fluttering hair behind her ears. "Normally, the people who die on this vessel stay here permanently. But do you hear that?" She yielded to the singing of her ghostly crew. "Your pathetic voice would fork that up!"

Faatina's eyes creepily reached maximum capacity in their sockets before she started hacking away with a small dagger at the man's neck. With each gash, more and more blood began to splash against her grungy skin until she got to the bone. Taking a step back, her Phantom Blade--Harmony removed his head.

"Why are you going to Malaga!" Cat called out from the far side of the ship. Due to her being a spirit, she couldn't physically act outside of Faatina's will. She allowed her niece to speak periodically, but she was regretting it within hours of Cat's arrival.

"Why do you care? Didn't you destroy this city years ago? Why do you care what happens to it? Ahhh, that's true!" Faatina carried various souls within her own body, resulting in her hearing multiple voices from time to time. "You're the Franchise now. If you must know, I'm looking for Zeon. It's time I've met my niece."

There was a visible look of confusion on Cat's face; she couldn't understand what Faatina would want with Zeon. Faatina smirked; a thought from one of the many occupants would allow her to test her newly acquired weapon.

"Land HO!" One of the Spirits called out as the Dreaded Fleet descended upon the City of Malaga--Birth Place of the Liafador Family.

"Go into that town a bring Zeon back to my ship. Don't worry; she can't kill you. You're already dead." Despite not wanting to comply, Cat could feel herself involuntary executing Faatina's orders. But first she had to locate the Demoness.
