It was a good episode, but not the best of finales. It just seemed kind of overly safe. Woodbury is done, but not the Governor. A main character died, but not one of the prison crew.

I'm kind of curious to see where Rick goes from here. Does he return to sanity? Does he continue to look as if he is strung out on drugs while seeing things? Where does his relationship go with a son that has clearly lost faith in him?

Didn't think the Governor's actions made much sense. You just...never return to your home base filled with supplies? You just murder your army and drive off with 2 guys? I realize the guy is crazy, but if he was so intent on getting revenge it just seemed like a bizarre course of action to take.

I went to Pizza Hut, ordered the buffet, and then had a salad, some pasta, and 11 slices of pizza.

I can't really see Spider Man being able to kill Wolverine, but I can't see Wolverine getting close enough to Spider Man to do much either. The only way it likely ends is with Spider Man wrapping up Wolverine in a ton of webbing and then walking away.

Well, we saw what happened to people that were bitten by the little creatures the Cloverfield monster spawns. They exploded into a red mist of gore. I wonder if something similar would happen to the big green lizard?

I would say Thor and Captain America.

Iron Man and Captain America are the weak links here. Thor would eventually crush Iron Man and the Hulk shouldn't have much trouble with Captain America. That basically leaves Hulk fighting Thor. At that point, Thor can just fly around zapping the Hulk. It might take awhile, but if the hulk can;t reach Thor than he can't hurt him.

I don't think there is anything inherently good about allowing a villain to walk free instead of killing them. Look at the Batman and Joker relationship for example. Joker has killed untold thousands of people and ruined the lives of many more. Batman allows him to live though. Is Joker's life more important than the lives of those he kills?

The "not killing" ideal is a convenient plot device for villains continuing to be around even after they are captured/defeated. That is about it.

Ed Norton was a good Hulk and I really liked the 2008 movie. I don't think you ever really got a great impression of his full power in that movie though. In the 2003 flick you see him leaping huge distances, taking on tanks, and generally being a bad ass.

I think the main problem with bringing the Hulk to the big screen is that it is hard to relate to him as a character. He doesn't really interact with other people. He has no meaningful dialogue and you basically know his appearance means someone or something is getting smashed...that is about it.

Iron Man is still Tony Stark. Captain America is still Steve Rogers. Batman is still Bruce Wayne. Spider Man is still Peter Parker. Thor is still..umm.. Thor. These characters can have meaningful interactions both inside and outside of the fight sequences. They can talk. They can argue. They can love.

Hulk is mostly just a one dimensional destroyer. I think it is hard to really tell a compelling feature length story featuring just him. Well, at least anything on the level of a Dark Knight, Avengers, etc etc
