Hey, I forgot to ask before, but are we limited to Xmen characters or can we pick any Marvel people? Because if so, I'd totally date Deadpool. I don't mind that he's all scared up under the mask. He's funny. I like funny.

They never actually had a relationship. One of the writers back in the day liked the pairing a lot , but Xmen tends to change around writers a lot so a different writer nipped it in the bud before it got too far leading to along line of failed relationships for both until she got married and he went into the priest hood [kind of].
Since relationships change at the drop of the hat with Marvel, I have mixed feelings on the issue. On one hand, I think Kurt should have at least gotten a date, on the other, I'm kind of glad that it never happened because they both have so many names on their relationship history as it is...Of course, with retacons and multiple dimensions/worlds it's hard to keep track of which happened in what story line with who and how.

The last episode of the first season is supposed to have Xavier telling everyone the future has changed and go into the Age of Apocalypse. Assuming they get picked up that is.

As for them running out of characters, I really don't see that happening. Have you ever considered just how many characters there are? This is a very old comic series and they seem to be drawing from a mix of old and new plot lines. Provided they don't boil down an entire year's worth of comic plots into one episode, I don't think they'll run dry any time soon. Worst case, they just start feeding off the new comics.

I'd have to go with Kitty as my favorite. She probably shouldn't be allowed to dress herself, but out of all the girls in the Xmen universe, she has been one of the more fun ones. I loved the craziness she got up to during the 80's too.

After that it's kind of a toss up between Rogue and Nocturne. Nocturne is kind of minor, but there are days when Rogue does something stupid and makes me want to slap sense into her.

"i can't see it being Storm in any form... especially not a child version of Storm...

Cyclops has been stated as being in the movie as an escapee of a facility when Wolvie attacks it... the younger Cyclops is played by Tim Pocock, putting the character age at around early to mid 20's...

Storm can't be that much younger than Cyclops in the movie universe, she's certainly not nearly 20 years younger

Well, Gambit is supposed to be around the same age as Rogue, and yet he's an adult in this movie [and has normal eyes for some reason] and this movie is supposed to be several years in the past.

While I am aware that Gambit has time traveled before, I basically take that to mean this movie is going to drive comic fans nuts.

When I saw the first Spiderman movie with my best friend, she spent the whole film telling me about how "That's not what happened in the cartoon." I predict that if I even bother seeing this film that I'll be spending the whole movie complaining about how this isn't what happened in the comics.

Dante, Virgil, and Nero from Devil May Cry...and Gilver, who is secretly Virgil from the novel.
The entire cast of the Matrix
White Spy and Black Spy from the Spy vs Spy comics. Red Spy and Blue Spy from the Spy vs Spy video game.
Commissioner Gorden [sometimes] from Batman
The Returner [from the movie of the same name]
All four Crows from the Crow movies, plus the TV series, the comics, and even half of the villains.
McGruff the Dog [Take a bite out of crime]
Cannonball from Xmen wore one for a while
Doctor Who and the Master [And Donna Noble for a while]
The Steampunk version of Batman...if that counts.

...Lets just say trench coats are a very popular alternative for cape

I watched the show online up to episode 18 [the most recent?], but I also watch it on Nick so they get the ratings. Gotta support the things you love, right?

I'm most likely going to wait until they either do a Season 1 set or until they learn that DVDs of a TV series need to have more then 3 episodes per disk. I require between 4 and 6 episodes before I'll buy DVDs of a cartoon one disk at a time....Of course, I may change my mind if I see it at WalMart for a price that reflects it's 3 episode status.

That would be dealing with the New Sun arc. The New Sun was Gambit from an alternate reality. One where he HADN'T made a deal with Mr. Sinister to repress his powers. The New Sun then started dimension jumping, killing himself over and over again so it wouldn't happen in any other versions of Earth.
While it's still an option, I don't think it will actually come about for the Gambit we all know and love. If anything, now that he knows it could happen, I believe he'll work to prevent it.
