Right now, JLA is in the middle of a crossover with the main JSA title, so you'd probably need JSA for the full effect. I'm actually a longtime JLA reader who has dropped the main title for the first time in years; I've just been really frustrated with the way it's been going lately. Justice League: Generation Lost is currently way better than the main title. At this point, you're probably better off checking out some trades than the main title.
We are totally going to be the only two people posting here, aren't we? XD Really, Carrot Man is awesome. It takes a lot of guts to fail on a game show and not take off the silly carrot suit they made you wear.
...then again, the cartoon never made it clear whether or not he was wearing the suit because they made him, or because it was his own choice. Maybe they thought, "Hey, here's a crazy guy in a carrot suit! It's RATINGS GOLD!"
I don't really care either way whether or not it's going to be shot in 3D. I'm still going to see it in 2D. I wear glasses, so 3D is more of a pain than amazingly-super-special-worth-the-extra-financial-upcharge-awesome.
I say yes, but I have a horrible incurable fondness for stuff from the 80s. That said, it's probably the most easily followed of any of the Crises, if only because it doesn't have the baggage of prior Crises holding it back.
Yeah, Deadpool's going to be a really awesome character to play as--and you should definitely read some of the older stuff with him. Some of the newer stuff is fun; I still get a kick out of his pernicious reaction to things like the Star wars prequel trilogy...
Am I the only one that thinks it's a little weird that Al's constantly being paired up with Stargirl? The age difference doesn't give anyone else second thoughts? Anyone?
