Green Lantern War #3 review 0

The story begins with Guy, Kilowog, and Arisia searching for Zardor, Bleez, and Sodam Yat while he was being mind controlled at the same time. During the GLs trek, thousands of GLs (save for Guy and Kilowog due to their previous exposure with Parallax) are being mind controlled by Krona who is using Parallax to do the task for him and most of the GLs were headed to Oa. Soon after that, Kilowog sent Guy to the Green House where he confronted Hal Jordan. During their meeting, they had an argument ...

Holly Jolly X-Mas review 2

Anthro- To tell you the truth, I'm not a big fan of prehistoric stories but this story is a hell of a good read talking about solstices in their time Jonah Hex- When I read this, it reminds me of the Jonah Hex short I enjoyed and in this story, a kid's father got killed by some thugs and Jonah Hex made the thugs pay for their dastardly deeds.  Green Lantern- I like this story the most because John Stewart recounts his past military experience with a rookie lantern while patrolling a sector. Tiny Titans Review (originally written in 2009) 0

Here's the "origin" of tiny titans while Art was feeding his kids breakfast Jann Jones contacted him and asked him if he could work for DC Comics and Art was very excited that he contacted Franco and they got to work. In Febuary 2008, Tiny Titans was released and it is a success. Kids and Adults loved it and it sold out of many comic book shops across the nation. A year later they had won the Eisners for Best Publication For Kids.  One of my favorite issues of tiny titans is #17 because ...

Batman Beyond comics a brief history 0

If you love the series, then you'll love the upcoming mini series from DC. The first issue of Batman Beyond (vol.1) revisits the first episode of the television series and has given a more in depth recap to the first episode (w/ some minor differences) and subsequent issues have different stories that didn't appear on television. In addition, after the first mini series was successful, DC launched a second series of B.B. comics and lasted until 2001 which coincidentally the same year the TV show...

Batman the Brave and the Bold Review 0

The TV show is a noticeably lighter incarnation of the longest running than the previous DCAU series cuz it contained action packed episodes mixed with some slapstick comedy. One of my fav episodes of the show is The Eyes of Despero because it had Batman teaming up with the Green Lantern Corps and saving the Universe. What I also like about it is that batman temporarily becomes a Green Lantern when fighting Despero in space. What would've been better is that Batman teams up with Barry A...

Superman/Batman Public Enemies Review (Book vs Film) 1

I enjoyed the Public Enemies story arc because it has very intresting concepts and lots of action packed scenes. In addition I love it when it was adapted into a DTV movie and it gained very positive reviews but it has some differences between the book and the film. For example, In the film, there was a news montage about Lex Luthor being inaugurated as the President of the USA which contrasts to the book when Luthor is already President before the whole story began. Also in the film, some of th...
