I agree. This feels like two steps back. Concentrate on the Guardians as the primary villains and less on black/white lanterns.

The Black Hand Revenge arc is only running until the annual in August. The Guardians are still being built in the background of the entire Green Lantern line as the next big villians.

I don't really mind the time skips that have ben happening this arc. I was able to keep up with things fine.

I loved this issue. It was great seeing Beast get the spotlight along with all those wonderful Sabretooth scenes.

I loved the first two episdoes. Thought they were great fun. Also not getting the comparisons to Spectacular. In reality while both are Spider-man shows they are also clearly aiming for different things. I'm pleased they didn't aim for another serious Spider-man show as its nice to see something new and I think people would be hating it even more as it could never compare to their precious Spectacular Spider-man.

I really liked Defalco's one shot from last August so I'm disappointed he isn't involved with this. Still, I intend to give Krul a chance since I'm unfamiliar with his work, and his interview here wasn't too bad. I like that he seemingly intends to keep the aging, weakening Superman. Its different from the norm and should make for interesting stories.

Not sure why the interviewer asked about Kara. This is supposed to be based on the DCAU so Kara would have already traveled to the fututre to live with the Legion. I suppose they could always do a time travel story, but she otherwise isn't really supposed to be in the timeline.

Also noticed some asking about Power Girl and Superboy. Neither ever made it into the shows though with the time passed between Justice League and Batman Beyond they could easily introduce them. Still in the case of Power Girl I'd rather find out what happened to Kara's clone Galatea.

Pretty sure Warren is dying. With everything that has happened its hard to imagine another result. Also just want to point out, but Wolverine is still leading X-Force. He is in fututre covers. He just wasn't on the X-Force part of the Regeneris picture because he was already centered in on the Wolverine and the X-men part.

The concept as Action Comics is good, but I have to say that the writing did very little for me while I absolutely loved Superman #1. If I was collecting only one it would be Superman though lucky for me I have brother who is collecting both.

The ongoing has actually been fairly solid with the latest issue probably being the best yet along with it featuring the return of Blight. I suggest you check it out. Won't deny though, it still has some annoying references to current continuity.
