You never heard the College Dropout?

So the guitar player for my band and I a couple days a month with get together and bring an album that the other hasn't heard and listen to both. We hang out and talk about the music and it's an enjoyable band bonding time.
We're on for this weekend running through our lists to see what albums the other person hasn't listened to when I get distracted and start talking about 808s and Heartbreak. He mentions that he has never heard 808s but I'm not willing to spend my Saturday listening to an album I'm not a big fan of. He then mentions that he has never listened to a Kanye West album and I start to freak out. He's heard some singles but still. The College Dropout is one of the best albums of all time, OF ALL TIME (yeah I did).
So this weekend the albums on the bill are MGMT's Congratulations and Kanye West's The College Dropout. It should be fun.

You're better off listening to Styles P's album Gangsta and a Gentleman. That's a classic.

Styles P is that dude. I can't think of many people better than him in the game right now. Add on top of that, he's always had the Mixtape game on smash. He may be a little ruff around the edges, but he can make a beautiful song when he wants to. I'm Black and Here's to My Brother proved that.

College Dropout isn't my favorite rap album, it's not even my favorite Kanye album I just thought I was weird he hadn't heard it. Come on, even if you aren't big into rap you might own College Dropout.

I don't own any Kanye albums. he's not my cup of tea. lol I'd rather listen to Mos Def. And please don't say these two are the same. That's grounds for verbal abuse. lol j/k
