I continue to be torn about this book and Snyder's work on it. Zero Year probably started off as my favourite Nu52 Bats story after the Batman Inc. conclusion but isn't holding up.Snyder's plotting itself is strong enough. Enjoyed the callbacks to Year One between the police/Batman fight and the Gordon boat-ride. I think flipping the situation around between Bruce and Jim (Jim is the one trying to reach out to Bruce rather than vice-versa to establish their relationship) is a clever new wrinkle...
