I actually just went through all of X-force recently and honestly, there's no point in him being a part of it. He hasn't really done anything except make a few bad puns. I mean when Fantomex seems to be X-force's solution to EVERYTHING it's a little disheartening that Deadpool gets so little panel time. If you plucked him out of the book I'm not sure it would change anything.

That being said, seeing what effect his death has on his teammates will be interesting. Something I hate about Deadpool books is the complete lack of continuity. "What's that? At the end of Cable and Deadpool he had practically become a hero had a bunch of friends and joined agency X? Not in my book!"

How Would That Work Cause Storm,Beast And Wolverine Are on both team ?

Presumably Wolvie would be on the Avenger's side seeing as he split from Cyclops' x-men, and Beats headed out east with him. Despite being in the image I get the feeling Storm will just be a peace keeper.

So let's pretend for a moment that Deadpool won't be back in a year because Joe Quesada loves Deadpool more then he hates marriage, and shoot the shit on how Deadpool could believably die.

Seeing as how this seems to be going down around the time Venom is taking over the world, I'd like to think Anti-venom would be involved. He comes across Deadpool slicing up symbiotes with his future spear (Can't believe everyone forgot about that) when Anti-Venom 'cures' his cancer, which we all know for Deadpool is a bad thing.

SO what do you think is a way Deady could die? Also please don't answer "He won't" or "he'll be back in a year" let's at least TRY to believe he'll stay die okay?

Deadpool dies, rest of series becomes about him resurrecting dead characters.

@VioletPhoenix: Exactly. This is practically a non-issue, if only they'd give the decision making process to the government.

Spider-Man revealing his identity was the worst. Spider-Man says outing himself will cause all his villains to attack his family. He outs himself. His villains attack his entire family. Seriously, he knew better. :/

Too be fair, Spidey was pro registration and figured the government would protect his loved ones once it passed.

Then he should have waited. :P

It was a publicity stunt. They figured once this kid was out in the open people would realize that literally anyone could become a super hero and that the bill needed to be passed.

This wouldn't a problem if those unpatriotic hippies like Captain America and Cable had let the registration act pass!

Captain America? Unpatriotic hippie? Are you high or what?

Only on the truth!

As Mark Twain put it: "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it."

Captain America understood that.

Sounds like Mark Twain was a hippie bastard as well.

So I was finished Old Man Logan, and I LOVED it! It was awesome, everything I wanted, well, Wanted to be but with a post apocalyptic edge. Also, kudos to Miller for not being violent or shocking for the sake of violence and shock.

But as I'm reading I can't help but wish for more of it. I knew it was only 8 issues long and I really wanted to see more of this world fleshed out, I wanted to see America liberated and a new age of heroes rushed in. As great as it was, I wanted more. And I thought about who would be the best pick. You can guess who I came up with.

Deadpool would be perfect for this type of story. Considering he's practically immortal "Old Man" might not be very fitting but he seems like the type of guy who would survive an uprising of super villains. On top of that if Miller went a bit more fast and loose with the violence it wouldn't seem too out of place with Deadpool being a mercenary and all. Plus someone always wants someone else dead so it's not like Wadey would be out of business anytime soon. SO what do you think? Would Deadpool make a good sequel to Old Man Logan?
