Thor didn't even finish his sentence in the th fight with Wolverine in this comic being referenced. Thor never said Wolverine was faster than him.

Mongoose got ht plenty of times and in the second encounter he had to poison Thor with poison gas so he could strke while Thor was busy trying to breath.

Masterson-Thor had Thor's power but wasn't used to them which is why he had trouble in a training session with Captain America or landing hits on the original Thor and Spider-man.

This panel/scan is always taken out of context to the story. This is not Thor, Thor killed Loki & his soul was imprisoned. Eric Masterson Was Given Mjolnir, He gained Thor's Strength, Durability, basic use of The Hammer(at first could barely Fly, without crashing. But none of Thor's combat experience, Masterson was an Architect from New York w/the Powers of a God & no Instruction Manuel. Later after Thor's release they Battled & Masterson couldn't land a shot even w/ Mjolnir & after months of training w/Hercules & Captain America . classic Thor isn't slow this is just a bad example, (Although Eric M. goes on to become Thunderstrike & dies Excellently ,like" A Warrior Born")

As far as wolverine, 1 Terrible story , 2. This always falls back to restraint on Thor's part , He explains in the scan many battles go longer than they should because he doesn't His Full physical abilities or Powers against Mortals for fear of Killing/Murdering Them , Wolverine was going all out, he thought he was fighting Sabertooth, Thor knew he was fighting Wolverine ,So of course he's holding back ,for most of the fight

He also held back due to Wolverine being under mind control and did not want to hurt him. Didn't stop him from tossing wolverine around though and ending the fight when he had had got sick of being attacked Wolverine while trying to baby him at the same time.

Mongoose jumping around thinking his superspeed was specail unitl Thor revealed that his "godly" speed is far greater and swatted him.

And to all the low-ballers of Thor, this what happened to Wolverine when Thor stopped taking it easy. Wolverine was under mind control at the time and Thor did not want to hurt him. Thor casually throws and bats Wolverine around when he feels like it.

Wolverine suprising Thor with his decent combat prowess does not mean Wolverine is comparable or better than Thor. If Wolverine is so fast compared to Thor why did he get hit when he was on Thor's back, at position of greatest advantage?

And yes, writers, for the sake of a story will sometimes even go as far as to not show an ability or disregard as much with the character's own words, such as super-speed, which is something that Thor has shown many times.

This story was a short one. This story that lowballers of Thor try to use to say that Thor lacks superhuman- speed (within the supersonic range and above) in a battle that is only 7 pages and hardly any plot!!

And Thor routinely holds back against foes not on his power-level anyway. Use COMMON SENSE and read once in a while!

4. Being Mocked by a gods, such as the god Chulain, doesn't make you a slow compared to regular humans or other superhumans. The specifics of his or Thor's speed in that fight aren't even made clear.

Are people so desperate that they resort to such a weak argument? Try harder and do it with facts next time, lowballers!
