Right now? I hate it. It looks too "ultimate" for 616.

But if it sticks around long enough I might get used to it like I did the New 52.

But then... This is Marvel we're talking about. The classic suit will be back within 5 years and we can forget little hiccup ever happened in their long, falsely unrebooted history

we'll never know. I'm glad Peter was able to move on and find love again, but there'll never be another woman for him like Gwen

This article has gotten me to think about things I really didn't want to consider. I've always preferred Gwen over MJ as Peter's great love, but on the other hand I really did enjoy the marriage, so much that I quit reading any Spider books in protest after OMD and haven't looked back.

No matter whether people think MJ is The One, now I'm beginning to think dissolving the marriage was an editorially sound move (though undoubtedly critically flawed in its execution). It prevents fans and writers alike from falling into this rut of thinking that some relationships are inviolate and can/should never be broken. That's not how it works in life and I don't like it in my comics either. Sometimes things just don't work out in the end no matter how hard we try, and I believed Marvel is the one company that "gets" it

The whole concept of "soulmates 4evr" is ridiculous and stupid to me, I hated when DC played that card with their couples like Clark & Lois, and was excited when they finally broke them up, but when it was MJ & Pete I felt wronged...

now I feel like a hypocrite

Interest piqued. When I read the title I thought they were introducing He-Man into the DCnU. That got me overcharged!! but this is still good too

I can see why Europeans wouldn't want to have a typical hero vs villain throwdown in one of their cities. Destroy five blocks like that one guy said that could be 1000 years of historical landmarks gone forever

The whole world is big enough to have superheroes/supervillains. If they wanted to use their powers it's not like the police could exactly stop them if they wanted, that's the whole point.

What's up with that AR poster? Some weird mix-n-match of the movie & comics designs I thought I was trippin.

Huh, good luck to Marvel. I'm all for digital books, once I get money I might give it a chance. I haven't consistently read Marvel in several years

@Primmaster64: Well, I don't really have any major gripes about the current Superman costume save for that it changed very little. I like that with the Earth 2 suit, they went all out and weren't afraid to get creative. I like the more emphasized "S" shield and the fact that the suit itself looks alien.

that's the 1st time I've heard that, the New 52 suit "didn't change enough". I'm just grateful they kept the \S/ somewhat classic looking in the new one. This E2 \S/ doesn't sit well with me yet.

Did I mention how pumped I am that this is a Lois-free universe?!
