That thread was no morals Wally West. No morals Wally West is a vastly different beast. If this entire fight was no morals he would annihilate them quite easily. I also said at the outset I was merely arguing for UberHikari's pleasure -- I didn't know about the character I was arguing against and was honestly just trying to come up with possible ways Wally could win an impossible fight.

In character Wally isn't going to go a bajillion times the speed of light because it's ostensibly dangerous. When you have this many guys who, to some degree, *are* fast who are trying to bring Wally down I think the odds are in their favor they'll get a significant hit off which then lets them gang up.

I'd argue, in character, Wally beats any of them 1 on 1 a significant majority of the time. But Wally's not going to put on the afterburners at the start of the fight, which would be his downfall. He also only ever started a fight with speed steal once, and that was against Girder of all people. It's usually his second or third serious option in a fight.

If this were in a comic book Wally would obviously lose. Unless it was in a Flash comic, then he would win. Narrative bias ahoy.

Considering I don't think anyone on the other team would insta-blitz murder Wally as fast as possible in character (much like how Wally wouldn't do it, either) then it becomes a matter of "What does fighting to the best of their ability mean?" Does Wally realize he's fighting several Superman-tier/Green Lantern tier characters?

I could contrive a scenario where even morals on, in character Wally wins. I do not think it is the most likely scenario nor one he would resort to in character, morals on, so the team probably wins 9 to 10 times out of 10. The >1 times Wally wins basically involves him fatefully dodging every attack, realizing what he's up against, and pulling out all the stops.

I think it's much more likely he gets tagged, stumbles, and gets ganged up on. While Wally has tanked/survived much stronger than any of them can put out, that's not a usual showing for him and plenty of things not as strong as Quasar's blasts or Hyperion's punches has put Wally down for the count.

High powered reality warpers bound to still mortal, typical human durability bodies. Characters like Jenny Quantum or Franklin Richards.

They could presumably use their powers to circumvent or remove this vulnerability but tend to just stick around as normal humans.

The hilarity here is everyone thinking the universe has a finite distance and edges.

It's infinite. There's no "end" of the universe by definition. It's like trying to reach the end of the face of a mobius strip: you keep running forever. It's a stalemate, they all just keep going forever and ever. Unless you create a finite distance for them to race.

He starts off with lightning bolts all the time. He doesn't beat The Flash because The Flash is stupidly overpowered and, as good as complete control over weather is, it's only rarely a real challenge for The Flash and that's why he joined The Rogues.

WW wins this fight pretty easily, though. I don't see how Groot can do anything to him or put up a real fight against WW's onslaught.

His power isn't a portal. If it was the spears and the shackles and the other Gorillas would've been brought into it. He just choose to bring himself, Grodd, and some of the environment into the Speed Force.

It's fair to say that Barry bringing in anything of any size is a no limits fallacy, though.
