Rick Jones is a great choice. But as who's sidekick Hulk, Captain Mar-vell, of Captain America? and who is Ebony White? "
Rick Jones was a great sidekick over all to the hulk he added humanity, to captain america he give optimism and hope and to captain marvel he was an anchor to the human condition ( seeing how mar-vell was an alien)  but to the reader he give us the fantastic, we were rick jones in his adventures, his eyes were our eyes. so again he was a great sidekick to all three of the heroes.

Ebony White was the horrific sidekick to the spirit

don't know, these stories should come off like shazam/captain marvel light, the real reading are the Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman stuff. try buying the collected editions they will set you back alot o money

Im a huge golden age fan and as i was reading the spirit archives a thought popped in my head, who was the 1st comic book hero of color? not retconned but in real time? for the life of me the only character that i can think of is Wing as in the Crimson Avenger and Wing. not Ebony White or the Black Panther from the silver age. sure he was a horrible stereotype but i believe that he was the 1st comic book hero of color ..... am i wrong?
