You're not clear on exactly what you mean when you ask 'would a gay person fall for her SPELLS'.

I think it's pretty obvious, as someone else pointed out, that most of her actual sorcery would work just fine, since your sexual orientation doesn't provide a shield against getting the snot knocked out of you by a mystical Force Bolt, or prevent your transformation into a concrete lawn gnome.

On the other hand, what you probably meant was 'would a gay person fall for her SEDUCTION, which is an entirely valid question. And... that would likely always come down to a judgement call on the part of the author. I'm fairly sure most people these days do not see human sexuality as binary--you being either gay or hetero--but instead see it as a spectrum with most people being more or less at one end or the other, but with plenty of people landing somewhere in between. Looked at in that way, nobody is ever one hundred percent one thing or the other--even if you never, ever act on it, you're still affected by the attractiveness and/or charm of people of your sex, usually in a fairly subtle way. And of course this view very much allows for the Bisexual people, where some other models just dismiss them as being confused, or simply lying to themselves.

All of which is just a very long way of saying 'It all comes down to who's writing that particular story, but no, there's no guarantee that this person would be immune to Amora's sexy, sexy self. Especially when she gets impatient with doing it the old fashioned way, with just her lips, hips, and fingertips, and lets loose with her sorcery-powered enslavement kisses and all of that stuff.

That being said, there's always the 'Rule of Funny', which could very much come into play here--Someone DOES brush her off completely, simply because the look on her face would be priceless.

I admit to actually doing that, for Buffyverse fanfic I wrote, where the character Harmony basically gets reborn/transformed into Amora, and then has to figure out the rules that govern her new powers. She does, in fact, meet that one-in-a-million person who is literally 100% gay, and some small degree of hilarity ensues. Here's a link, it's chapter nine of the story if you want to check it out:

@The Dark Huntress: Um.  I tend to agree: every single bit of that is horrible, with the exception of Logan.  Ugh.

Back in the day, a big deal was made about how short Logan was.  He was drawn as waaaaaay shorter than the rest of the team, and I'm fairly sure I recall seeing his entry in the Handbook of the Marvel universe as listing him as either 5' nothing or 5'2".
Is that still the case, in the post-Hugh Jackman era?
Since moviegoers have now learned to associate Wolvie with a guy who's well over six feet tall, have they retconned Logan into a few more inches in height?
I ask this partly because I just looked at some of the New Mutants issues, particularly the one where Logan introduces Laura to the other kids, and in that panel she's shown as being considerably shorter than he is.  If this is old-school, vertically-challenged Logan, then that makes Laura something on the order of four and a half feet tall....
Which, okay, she WAS mainly trained as an infiltrator, so having everyone assume she's a helpless child works to her advantage, but still.  That kind of thing IS a disadvantage in hand-to-hand combat.
Whereas if Logan is now somewhere around six feet tall, that brings Laura up into normal height range for a woman.

Any thoughts?

Looking at her various appearances, I'm uncertain about this.
She really doesn't ever do anything superhuman, strength-wise, that I can see.  Most of her physical brutality is something that any strong, fit human being could manage, provided they were also invulnerable.  And most (not all) superstrong people don't make a habit out of carrying around a mini-arsenal... which Kimura usually does.
Whoever did the powers section of her profile listed strength in there, but I just read the Astonishing Tales story where she was featured, and at one point Punisher picks her up, carries her across the room, and dives with her into the jaws of a huge beast... and she's struggling all the while, seemingly unable to prevent it from happening.

Which makes me wonder.

There might be something unique in Kimura's biology that prevents them from using the same process on someone else with the same level of success.
Or, there might be some absolutely horrific side effects, that Kimura has never mentioned, but that make her life a living hell whenever she's not out on missions.
The process could have shortened her lifespan drastically, leaving her with just a couple of years to live.
She might be in blinding pain, with only short periods of respite granted by some kind of tech in her costume.
And so on, and so forth.

Even so, every time she tells someone 'Nope, not a mutant, I'm just awesome like this', I too have this insatiable need to know the details of what is going on with her.
I imagine it will all come out someday.

@Donnieman v5.1: Me too.  Any woman who's that damaged is pretty fascinating by default.
Also, there's the hotness factor.  Nobody who's that hot should be kicked to the curb (or murdered).
Still, Laura needs a little payback.
Or maybe the two of them could get to know each other, and set aside (some of) their hate, and acknowledge the love they secretly have for each other...?
 ::blink::blink::

Hm.
I think I've been reading too much fanfic.
Or else I've not been writing enough of it.

@John Valentine: It was said by a character that she could be killed by a TK bubble in her brain; but talk is cheap.  Nobody tried it, so nobody knows if that would actually work.  I tend to think that she's that tough all the way through, otherwise her brains would come out of her ears if someone sufficiently strong were to smack her.
The drowning or vacuum, on the other hand... sure, that's a fair bet.  Getting her to stop killing you while you arrange for that would be the trick.

I'd hate to see her go, though; I kind of like her.
Or maybe that's just her costume, messing with my mind.

Hmm, good catch!
She's just all regal and sexy like that, so it's more likely for an artist to draw her in such a pose... I suppose.

Buffy.
Or... Faith.

Actually, Buffy AND Faith, together, romantically, are the hottest.
