@v_scarlotte_rose: It's a free issue with FCBD.

I was saying that it was still too expensive because it's Hickman and he writes garbage :P

If Hickman writes garbage most other writers must write rotting flesh in a cauldron of animal manure.

Because he's the most boring of the Earth Green Lanterns

So the only human ever to become a guardian is boring? Maybe because Johns and the other GL writers have done nothing with him. He was interesting in Mosaic and the cartoon, so?

And that's my point. Some people will consider him boring because he's never used. He's never at the center of galactic conflict. He's never the main character.

I didn't find him interesting in the cartoon, either honestly. Of course, that's my opinion, but it doesn't take too much to interest me.

In my humble opinion as an ardent Moon Knight fan, I felt that Kavanagh absolutely butchered this series. It was pretty good under Dixon and DeMatteis...then when Kavanagh took over it took a nosedive.

Glad someone agrees with me :)

I think anybody who's read that series will agree with you.

The convoluted complaint that non readers have has nothing to do with complex stories and everything to do with crossovers much like the one in this week's Flash.

Me, I'm loving Hickman on Avengers, moreso than New Avengers. Is it insane? Yes. Do we need character development for Captain America or Wolverine? No.

The complaints I keep seeing read like folks want boring stories about the same things we've seen before. And we want them delivered in a super digestible package that a six year old can grasp.

This isn't Saturday morning cartoons. I don't wan everything explained and resolved in a few pages. I want to have a big story told in a big way with big characters.

Until a few month ago, I was one of those non-readers.

My thoughts exactly, I'm loving Hickman on Avengers.

@billy_batson: it seems a lot of writers have some suppressed sexual thoughts. Read some of Alan Moore's independent work i.e. Lost Girls.

I think you can apply this to most men period.
