Taylor had been in contacts a month ago with Landon over it but this kind of operation took time and she really wasn't to interested in dragging others into it. Most of Millennium City was seen as a rather ideal metropolis, with so many heroes having come out of it there wasn't to many who dared to commit that much crime. Duskburg had some to be fair, but it to was minimized options as being so close to Millennium made it an ideal stalking ground for anyone from the Academy or wanting to be the sidekick of some established name. That wasn't to say it was criminal free however they just knew how to handle such conduct from the top.
From within the metropolis commands went out to a place here in Duskburg and from there out to other places in the US. The criminal ring was expansive and to sturdy at it's base to knock over it needed to go from the top down.
Firstly came working her way in however, the Bishop name was known for being tied to a business that largely fell at the hands of the late Dragonfang, and for having played a similar role of the upper echelon of crime in Grimm. Taylor was known more for her time she retaliated against the Chicago mob. It'd take some work cementing her status among the mafia and ascending the ladder to then bring the place down from decapitation. Before she could press on that however she had to obtain a place.
Old Duskburg was where Taylor had gone, Weeping Spire off thirteenth boulevard it was often labeled neutral ground. Just down the road was the precinct. Presumably every gangbanger or vigilante was either in good graces with said law or largely disliked. To act against someone was to likely create an uproar and so for a price came neutrality. It was perfect for someone with a good name and a bad reputation.
Her clothes were average jeans and a shirt of unremarkable value her hoodie black and of similar value. Of course hidden in pockets sleeves and so forth was a large array of knives. Her scarlet hair held into a pony tail by a needle. Lips pressed to a smoothie she approached the man at the desk. "Only rooms we have Bishop is shared."
That might complicate things. "No big deal missed out on a roommate during college so." The man squinted at her not appreciating what was perceived as a lie. "Hey I went for half a year you don't know me." The remark helping lead into paperwork being sought after and files of who was available rummaged through.
