@dragonborn_ct: Thanks for your thoughts on them. The first sounds awful, I'm just gonna skip that. I'll definitely pick up 3, and I'll probably pick up 2. Worse case I don't like it and sell it or something.

Also, the more I play Saints Row 4, I've found one more piece of criticism with it. Do you want to hear it?

Its really just mediocre. Not really worth anyone's time, but not unplayably bad.

But sure thing mate. I'd like to hear your criticism on SW4 too too.

Fantastic review, highly entertaining and informative as always (can't believe I saw it just now...). Props to you both.

I kinda missed some of the humor though, but that's fine. After all you did make that hilarious blog about the Legendary Ships.

Thank you, mate. Loads of dual reviews are hopefully on the way. :)

If they are released on time :P

Was that a jab at me or the devs, lol?

Depends lol :p

@dragonborn_ct: I'm loving Saints Row 4 and want to play some of the other Saints Row games (even if they don't have super powers). Should I play all 3, just 2 & 3, just 3, or something random like just 2 or 1 & 3?

I am going to give my own opinion on each game just so you can judge for yourself

SW1 - Its was an generic crime sandbox. Your character was a silent and you could only play as an male. You had to fight against other three enemy gangs, but you could only progress the storyline by doing other side-missions that unlock respect, which is necessary to go forward. Which means, you can't just run over and do story missions, you are forced do plenty of side activities that are necessary. All three storylines don't go together and the ending is sorta disappointing.

SW2 - Your character was now voiced and you could be either male or female (it didn't affect the storyline if you decided to do an sex change). Gang war mission structure remains the same, but the side-missions were more better worked and in the end, all three gang war storylines close together into an overaching storyline. Still the Boss can come across as extremely thuggish and throughoutly unlikable for my tastes.

SW3 - Its where the series starts to get bonkers, featuring a similar artstyle to SW4. Character costumization has being further improved, several wacky weapons had being added, but you receive majority of them late game. You don't need to do side missions to progress through the story, you can do the story missions whenever you like, Unfortunately many of the fun side missions had being removed for some that are not even worth doing it.

Its up to you, which one you will like better. Personally SW3 is my favorite one after SW4.
