The currency in India is Rupees. The price of the PS4 in India is around 30,000 Rupees. To put it in perspective; a meal at a good restaurant is around 200-300 Rupees.

I used the Brazilian to US currency calculator on Google. So the PS4 would be a little over $1800.

Wow, its these import taxes that are absurd. I dunno if its Sony or the government enforcing them, but I was thinking the console would cost much less on Europe too :\
