@howler412: I hope you're not a minority on that. Even though my page on this site will reveal that I'm a brand-loyal fan of the series, I think Marz did so much good with Witchblade and all the major Top Cow story arcs, as well as Angelus. I'm also happy with his Magdalena so far. These things aside, I'm pretty open myself to the new writer and hope he continues to develop the story to the degree that Marz did.

Btw, if anyone has it, I'm the Alex Clingan from the email excerpt in the back of Witchblade 149. Also, I may be the only one defending Gleason here, but I always liked him because of the character development he applied to Sara, and mainly because he reminds me of Fox Mulder from X-Files. Anyway, hope Witchblade continues to be as strong as it's been for the past 70 issues!

I love how Top Cow not only has a female flagship character, but that they've also managed to produce a strong variety of female characters with consistent depth and personality. I hope to see this trend continue in the comic industry as a whole.

Hey everyone! Being the total fanboy I am, I gotta say that I was amazed by this short yet effective volume. When I started collecting Witchblade four years ago, Dani was just starting to get used to being the Witchblade bearer. Ever since she's been my favorite comic character, and I can't believe how she's developed over the years. Ron Marz has done a great job creating a consistent character, and he wrote this spin-off series really well. I'm also very happy with the way things have been with Dani and Finch (and I swear it's not in a perverted way).

Now that that's out of the way, what do you all think about this volume? I realize it's probably not on top of the priority list for most Top Cow readers, but I think it deserves conversation.

You know, I'm also sick of love triangles. I must say though, I REALLY like the love interest between Dani and Finch that Ron Marz wrote in The Angelus and Witchblade. I'm sure I may sound perverted saying this to anyone who read Angelus #5, but I've followed Dani for 4 years now and love how her character turned out. It's great to see her in a relationship that makes her so happy.
