D.M.'s Fav Hero's
In no paticular order; I will admit now most of these (Marvel) are pre Bendis/Max/HoM time.
DC's pre 52 as I've only read 52'2s PoB.

the top dog in the street level catagory as far as I'm concerned. 186 Vol. 1 was my first comic I pick up off a news rack in a corner store.
Still don't/won't read the Max title. I'm a fan since the '86 mini that, along with DD, got me really collecting comics.
Always loved the comercialism of him, a fresh/fun look at heroing.
Just plain fun adventures.
No one more deadly than the Black Widow ;P
One of my few power players.
Another power player, the Surfer always intrested me for some reason. Maybe cause I can't surf?
Cause gettin out of a trap is a nessesity in his line of work :)
Having seen him defeat Dr. Doom in his first apperence has left an impression. His tactics of posing as a leader of a gang to get to the underworld was a great plan. I think him and the Punisher could of done some great work together.
Just a great girl with a power I could have fun with, lol
The ultimate everyman hero. He went out before he ever had the training and still tried to make a difference.
I enjoyed Mark Shaw when he had the Manhunter gig going.
The goddess of the storm is so much more than beauty and power.
She was a refreshing new character on a team of villains on the edge of goodness.
This steel powerhouse has also been a favorite since I met him in the pages of the X-Men.
Another power I could have fun with and I loved his cavalier/bright outlook on things.
One of my favorite 2099 characters, the reluctant X-Man. And the only one I enjoyed right through the series.
I thought this was a refreshing look on an old name.
The third power player on my list of favorites.
He actually got control of the U.S.A......even if it was a hundred years in the future. Is he a hero?? Depends on who you ask I suppose.http://www.comicvine.com/doctor-doom/29-1468/alternate-earths/108-7418/sp/105-2097450/
Created by "The Man" and Paul Ryan, Ravage was the first non-remake hero of 2099. Although his later mutations into the unstopable, indistructable beast man lessend his impact on me, he was still a great character to read.
Neither a street leveler or major power player, he's one of the mid-tear that has amazing potential.
I can't believe I almost forgot the Bug :(
And his side kick.....the Toy Wonder.....
Even if her into was less than a hit, her recent reapperance and subsequent training in the pages of DD bring a new hope for her fans.
What I have read of her, I think she makes a decent Question.
Should be on everyones list :)
The ultimate adventure hero.
Her attitude really brought out the fighting spirit in the X-Men of 2099. Specifically Skullfire.
Can't believe I did not have this man on my list yet....
I always thought he was on par with Captain America and Batman in the skill department, and he's not bad at prep either. I like his current direction.....so far.
Top of her game, almost unbeatable.
Really enjoying her role in B.o.P.
"The Terror that flaps in the night, the....."
As much as you can call Punisher a hero, Vendetta is that much ans more, she is out to help her "sister" gene dolls gain freedom.
In my dream 2099 comic, she would have a few solo stories of her own.
Puts the heat on her foes.
Another heavy hitter although mid tear.
Although I haven't kept up with him and he seemed to go a little over the edge story wise, I was there near the beginning and loved the ride. Was a fun read.
I think she has a good visual and she seemed like a fun/good natured girl.
Forgot till now the good Dr.
Sure miss this guy, would love to see him again. Maybe they'll put him in this Secret Wars thing, ha ha.
