@kevd4wg: I should have stated that the Cabal have the gear they had with them during the event. Thanos has been a prisoner on Earth at the time so he didn't have access to his ship. The Cabal used bombs to blow up enemy planets.
Apokolips is tiny. Thanos could destroy it himself.
